Dublin buses are more lethal than any Russian tank.
I like how you guys lined up according to height and in line with the barrel so were it fired, not a head would be left unscathed. ;-)
(yes I do get the barrel likely was pointed elsewhere.)
Solovyov does not believe a word he is saying. He is just playing the game.
I would imagine the local authorities were contacted and notified and I wouldn't be surprised if they gave an escort.
Ireland are the hamster Hammond in Stuart lees top gear joke
In Grozny in particular, but Chechnya in general this was a regular occurrence. I once saw a crowd of angry Chechens storm a tank that had killed some people in a car incident like the one above. Russian driver out of his tree on vodka. They had to stay locked inside the tank until their military came to rescue them. If the crowd had managed to get at them, they would have torn them to bits.
The person interviewed after the 1 o clock news today was a retired army intelligence officer is a Michael Murphy. He used short sentences - I felt that he was a bit of a lightweight. I would not employ him as an intelligence officer. Three things jumped out for me
(1) He used the interview to say that the army intelligence section needs more money to do a good job on counter intelligence ie to counteract/track what the 40 odd eRu embassy staff are up to
(2) he never thought about the idea of reducing Ru staff numbers. After all 40 Ru embassy staff can garner a whole lot more information/ cause a whole lot more conflict/ etc/etc than , say, 4 embassy staff. Therefor the Irish army intelligence section would have a much reduced ‘work load’
(3) He said that all embassies have staff acting on areas that it is illegal for them to be engaged in. I assume that all embassy staff in all embassies are first vetted by the respective governments and the reason for their rolls are given when applying for a visa. So ‘undercover ‘ staff should not be getting through in theory and if found out to be doing something not in their ‘job specification they are expelled. Mr Murphy gave the clear impression that it is the norm and you just have to manage it - BY GIVING US MORE MONEY
It's reductivist nonsense really, masquerading a binary fiction as analysis. But you know that.
Sure end the war, but let the ones who started it end it. Slava Ukraine.
From the investigation into flight MH17
Link to missiles from Belarus?
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Manic, although you've undoubtedly been in some of the world's more interesting places, I'm guessing from the above post that you've never been out in Manchester late at night ? 😀
USA and Poland have said it was a Ukrainian AA missile, and have also agreed to let Ukrainian inspectors visit the site.
I've had the same happen. Opel Vectra ran right under my left track. It was a straight dual carriageway, we initially thought he had to be a suicide car bomb until he slammed the brakes just before he hit us. We were stationary by that point.
Broke his nose, no airbags I guess. Obviously we asked him why the hell he hit us, his response was that he didn't see the tank.
(I think he was looking right at the "idiot" blocking him on the main road as he hit the gas and overtook said car which had slowed for some reason). And then didn't cop the tank for a moment or two after he looked forward again.
My photo, not my caption.
Article 5 have only been used one time,so far,and that was 9/11
If article 5 is ever used its because someone have been invaded or attacked by another country or terrorists,as stated by article 5.
If nukes are ever used, its because the attacker used nuclear weapons when attacking
Anyone hear the RTE News at One? Some hypocritical scutter from a mealy mouthed fella - was he ex army or ex diplomat, saying that the Republic of Ireland were hawks when it came to how we've commented on Russia. He said we should wind our necks in and not be kicking the bully in the shins. He was right on song with the likes of Daly & Wallace. Question is, how representative is he of Irish military and/or diplomatic thinking.
This chap I think: https://twitter.com/sitarms
While I am not a military man to any degree I would think the reason the US are not keen for the Ukrainian inspectors on the grounds in Poland to snoop is rather dull no one can guarantee the resulting inspectors will not be secret Russians interlopers who would aim to disrupt the investigation in order to damage relations between Ukraine/Poland and the US. That would be music to Putin's ears.
He's going to have to be careful. Furtively going about the place at night with a bag of equipment in an active war zone can get you into some trouble if not shot. We're not talking Battersea or Manchester in peacetime here.
I suggest you contact the Orc embassy and suggest they end the suffering of Ukrainians by ending the war. They started it and so only they can end it. Would you like the number?
The missiles came from Belarus, but it might have been hit by a ukrainan missile and went of course
Where did you read that "good comment"?
Kremlin Telegram channel? 😕
"Not one inch" Biden needs an out from that statement what we are seeing is that out.
Zelensky says something about the origin of a single cruise missile (among many thousands that have been fired at Ukrainian civilians by the Russian terrorist state). Talk about an overreaction.
Nobody has categorically said it was a x, y or z missile, what we do know is Poland and USA are very reluctant in letting Ukraine in to inspect. Draw your own conclusions. Like I said "it would seem". If I was giving proof, I would have said "it's with certainty"
Follow up to the corruption video
The difference been, what seems a deliberate strike on Poland, "testing" the waters. This is a new direction, if that's what's happened then the Allied response could also change direction. As you say they may not put boots on the ground, but escalating the Air space and type of equipment they supply could change. Maybe we will see another Russian boat or sub sinking mysteriously.
Bollix .
"End the war before more Ukrainians suffer"
This only end is whenever Putin withdraws from all Ukraine territories and the return to pre 2014 borders...
Blaming Zelensky is stupid
What stands out for me after the Poland incident is that NATO appears firmly committed to arming and keeping Ukraine in the fight, but is equally determined to prevent a spread of the conflict. The same as since Feb 24 tbh.
For all those who demand peace to end the bloodshed, this is the sort of 'peace' Russia brings to territories it occupies.
