The reason Russia is different is that they don't care about 'collateral damage'. In fact, mass murder, torture, deportations, rape and child murder are part of Russia's official war doctrine; these things are encouraged by the Russian war ministry. Brutality is seen as a weapon of war just as bullets and bombs are. This is why they are evil.
I've known camels that behaved like that, except they were slimmer.

The US is not afraid of Russia
The reason they won’t go after him right now is because there’s little sense in doing so because despite the frustration we’re all facing with increases in electricity and gas prices, fuel, oil, etc, we have it fcuking easy compared to the Ukraine. If the US or someone in Europe decided to attack Russia, they’d be invaded themselves and then they’re dealing with all of the above + their country being a war zone. That would be utterly stupid and political suicide. Stand back, support the Ukraine as much as possible, but why would any of the above get involved in a fight that has nothing to do with them. I’d wonder if anyone calling for intervention from NATO/EU/US are inclined to jump into a street fight if they see one? Cos that’s the direct equivalent of what you’re expecting the aforementioned to do.
Condemn his war, support the Ukrainians & publicise his war crimes should be the only involvement. Getting mixed up in conflicts that have nothing to do with you is ridiculous. Did we go into Iraq and start fending off the US? No; we condemned what they did and refused to support their efforts. Why? It’s not our fight.

This is probably a stupid/dangerous thought but what if nato was to amass a massive amount of troops on the Russian border like Russia did with Ukraine pre invasion except they don’t invade just stay put. Might spook the Russians into taking resources out of Ukraine in fear of an invasion. I had the same thought just before the Russians invaded. As I said it’s probably stupid even dangerous idea but I wonder how that scenario would play out.
It doesn’t matter. They won’t attack inside Poland (very stupid idea) and the transport route isn’t exactly on Google Maps. That’s besides the fact they’ll be under heavy surveillance and security.
That reminds me, I need to complete my Form 11. I used to find it challenging until one time a random thought just popped into my head; 'what would Bertie do?' ever since then it's been a breeze. It's hard to tell from that video but if they aren't creating traverses, then not only will blast effect not be inhibited, but enemy troops entering the trench will have a nice ready-made fire lane along which they can enfilade the trench's occupants.
I think zig-zags were used more for communication trenches (in WWI anyway).
