No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
The constitution trumps (pardon the pun) any federal law. there are federal laws that say that anybody found guilty of them is barred from holding office but whether that applies to the presidency would have to be decided by the supreme court. I suspect it wouldn't.

I had written a whole other paragraph about the journalists taking a hard look at themselves but deleted it as it's not worth it. Now they are just dull and 100000% predictable. They haven't come up with a new or interesting angle since the raid. They have already said everything with name changes 6 years ago. It's predictable and repetitive and boring and the ramifications are just as predictable and repetitive and tragic: ... fans going out and threatening to kill and/or getting themselves killed. I just had a good-natured chat with a friend at the local shop this evening and while she was been a bit cheeky and humourous she suggested that Don might do a 'Waco' and set up a compound surrounded by hundreds of armed die-hard followers who vow not to let any one arrest their dear leader. He did steal top secret documents that are believed to be nuclear weapons related. Nobody know for sure what he intended to do with them although we might get some indication as the investigation matures.
