I tend to use flavour drops with vanilla protein in my porridge - butter biscuit/ toffee/ white chocolate. It can never be too sweet! 😀
After the workout protein synthesis stays elevated up to 24 hrs. You absolutely need no protein powder trash. A good healthy meal that's all you need.
This thread under fitness and wellbeing. Hence, I have to mention young lads that protein powder can cause a variety of health issue and absolutely useless form of protein consumption. Go post under the food category they have no issues what type of junks you feeding yourself.

Both of those prices are pre the discount code.
I got both for €30 each, that salted caramel is delicious.
60 servings tub is 1.9kg
So 100 is over 3kg
Bout 78% protein, very little difference between it and the impact I'd say.

That salted caramel flavour in that version of whey is the nicest I have tried in any flavour or brand, really salty. I'm hoping the strawberry will be good, and not short dated to reflect the low price.

Anyone bought from Inside nutrition? Recently popped up on my social media ads and selling 2kg whey for €44. No idea what's its like in terms of quality
It's fairly rubbish in terms of price anyway.
Wondering the same myself. Plenty of adds. See they are running a 25% off ‘payday’ which knocks a 1kg bag closer to €20 (not sure how that equates against some of the bulk sellers). Not a whole lot of reviews for what is a new company. Useful to know if they are any good as been Irish based, would at least be quick to get to you!

It seems like a good price, limited selection of flavours though.
I'd love to get some protein powder straight from the manufacturer without any other bulshi1t added to it. I'm getting sick of all the sweeteners, thickeners and other additives in everything (not physically sick, but just I had enough). Who works in Glanbia here? Maybe I should try to get a job there myself 😅

I've so much I need to get through that I'm staying off MP and BP websites.
Definitely wouldn't be paying anywhere near €22 a kg.
Wonder of someone supplies complex formula of protein + fat (soluble vitamins) and macros? Obviously to absorb protein and build muscle you need a variety of other nutrients? Sugar or banana flavour won't help.
They only declared 86g out of 100. 14 grams of unknown stuff in every 100g missing from the label. Would you know?
And why they are adding Sucralose to Protein powder?

Interesting short video on Myprotein and how their products are produced. Fills me with confidence seeing all the controls in place.
The video won't explain what kind of secret 14g of stuff in every 100g of protein powder.
I've been looking through the thread and MyProtein.ie has been recommended the most.
However they have about 10 different own brand offerings such as Impact Whey, Essential Whey, Total Blend, Isolate, Diet Whey, Hydrolysed Whey, Native Whey etc.
I would prefer a lactose free powder but that limits me to plant based powders which have less protein per 100g.
Which of the whey powders above would have the least amount of lactose?
Also are they definitely delivering >2.5kg tubs/packets to Ireland?

I found Glenisk protein yoghurts very good in the past and seen Skyr recommended in this thread but neither are lactose free. Thanks again
I use myprotein personally, find their impact isolate stuff the best (taste wise) have only ever bought strawberry, vanilla and natural vanilla flavours so far, with the natural vanilla being my favourite by far. However if anyone has any feedback or suggestions on their own particular faves I would be very interested.
Have you looked at the soy protein isolate unflavoured?
Alpro yogurts, haven't tried them myself but they should tick that box.
