Seems decent enough for the price. They have loads of colours available.
ive one, battery loses charge after only a few days. have to keep replacing the battery. useless.
I have noticed that with these scales, They are useless...
I was looking at my one in the press few days ago, dead, googled a new battery, was like 5e or something. think i used it once to make sure it worked. I think you're better off with a mechanical one that doesn't need batteries.
My other one is something like this, works perfect every time.
Its just a general watch battery that is inside them, you can buy a packet of those small disc batteries in the likes of Dealz/Euroland for 2 euro and the right one should be in it (compare the number etched on the old battery with the new one).
Anyway I agree the Aldi scales arent great, my current one needs the battery pulled out and back in again before it works. I would get a mechanical one but they are very bulky, at least with the electronic ones they are slim and can sit on the window sill
They're usually a CR2032 battery for those electronic scales from Lidl/Aldi.
They're cheap as chips, euro2/dealz have them often.
I have my Lidl one 3/4 years now and it's working fine. Think it was only 4 or 5 euro without any offer or 30%reduction.
Space wise it's much more practical for me than a mechanical scales.
I got one of these in Lidl/Aldi a few years ago, and it never worked apart from the first couple of times.
Got a marginally less inexpensive Salter one in the likes of Homestore & More, and it's still going strong.
Sometimes cheap isn't worth it.
yeah you're right there. cheap isnt always worth it. Im allways dogmatic about returning items to Lidl/Aldi that break down or dont work as they should. In fairness to them they just give a refund with no questions asked.
My lidl one is still going strong after 4 years ! changed battery once...got it for 4 bucks i think
