€2 for 90 minutes of travel across Dublin Bus, Go Ahead, Luas, DART and Commuter Rail with Leap card

Seems to be sorted. It was only 2.40 in yesterday and €2 out. The card reader inb the train station wasnt working on the way out.

Is this just with leap cards? The original post has a news link where it mentions you get it if you pay by cash also?

I should know this but how do the Rail Zone 6 work with the Travel 90 fare? I was pleasantly surprised that my pre booked rail fare to Kilcock was €3.90 each way from Drumcondra, I got a bus from the City Centre to Drumcondra and same on way back, would I have got a cheaper all in fare if I'd just tapped on the Bus and tapped off in Kilcock and same on way back?

Drumcondra - Kilcock = 3.90 x 2 = 7,80

44 Bus = 2.00 x 2 = 4.

Good to know for next time, so buying online in advance cost me extra this time, ah well.

Greystones is in the short hop zone but not in the 90 minute fare confusing I know. I can't understand this you can use the 84 or 184 bus to Greystones and be charged the 90 minute fare but not the DART which makes no sense.
