Does anyone who has a revolut business account know if, say, a customer pays an invoice of Euro5,000 into my business revoult account, will it incur a fee of 1% (Euro50) per invoice, starting from the first each month plus a fixed fee of a few cent?
I'm also not sure if there's a limit on say, transferring 10,000 into another business account.
""Assuming you can wait a day or so for the transfer to take place, you could do a one time transfer to the IBAN of your new Revolut account or link your Ulster bank debit card in the Revolut app and top up using that.
No credit cards yet....""
I can wait but i dont have a Ulster Bank Debit Card ?
Whats the issues people are saying here ?
Thans Shag by the way
If you don't have a debit card with UB just do a one off transfer to your Revolut IBAN and BIC, will take about a day to arrive (do as early in the day as possible).
Personally I don't have any problems using it as my main account.
I hope you don't have the same opinion of revolut after a couple of months of depending on them
I was considering switch my main bank account from AIB to revolut, but I'm a bit concerned about what is going to happen if I ever decide to get a mortgage here, and not having movement on an Irish bank, would it affect my credit score? and the same goes to the citizenship application, I know they ask bank statements, having only revolut is enought?
Had a weird transaction the other day. I bought concert tickets and there was an option to pay via Revolut, which turned out to be a bank transfer. I got the tickets a few minutes after making the transaction, but no money left my account. I assumed it would be taken the next day as bank transfers normally take a day or two but I see the transaction is completed and it's over two days now. It's marked as verified, sent to the recipient's bank and received by their bank but no money has left Revolut. Anybody had anything similar?
Is anyone else having difficulty ordering the new card? I've been trying on and off for the last couple of weeks, and the app crashes on me every time.
Does anyone know what they look at when you link your bank account during a loan application? How many months of data do they pull?
I'm interested in a small loan but have been doing up the house so my outgoings in Feb and March were completely out of the norm and much more than my salary coming into the account. I remember the last time I got a loan they wanted 3 months of statements so just wondering if I should wait.
Doesn't matter as you can just give them 6 months of Revolut statements (you download on a laptop). Was fine for Permanent TSB when we got our mortgage.
Should be the same for citizenship. They don't care about the institution, just that you have money etc.
Has been my main account for 2 years without issue.
Can I ask were you charged for the replacement card.

Just Checking SHeep Shagger, Can i do the transfer from My Ulster Bank app, to Revoult , in Different Times rather than a One off, And is there a charge for that
Yes, you could set up your Revolut account as a payee at Ulster Bank (however you normally do that) and transfer in the app whenever you want. Only charge should be on the UB side for a normal electronic debit.....no charge on Revolut side.
Personally I wasn't...for people getting charged ate they accidently choosing an upgrade or something.
New card tool about a week to get here. Had to relink to Google pay and fitbit pay for phone and watch to use, took 2 minutes.
Some users are not being notified about requiring a new card or needing to order a new one. I contacted Revolut support because I never received a notification to order a new card. They said that if you do not get a notification to replace your card, you do not need to replace it. I have a Visa revolut card and they were adament that I did not need to order a new card.
So people ordering a new card, may have just ordered the normal card again because they did not get a notification. There is a charge for the card. People who are notified, can order the card for free. It may not be necessarily a user accidentally upgrading the card.
I never received a notification to order a new card either, nothing via email or App. I'm not going to do anything unless I get a notification. I too am on Visa.
I keep getting emails from Revolut offering me €60 to get people to sign up. You'd think they'd be doing the opposite considering the influx of new customers! Maybe they're not doing as well as we think here
It does not matter if you have a Visa or a Mastercard when it comes to the notification about ordering a new card.
Only those cards which have been issued before Revolut finalized their transition to their own payment processing (and even those who still have a Rev P beta card) will need replacement so that you can get a new card that uses their own processor (to get a few more cent on the interchange rate).
The cut-off might be somewhere in mid 2020 if I recall the evolution of the Rev P project correctly.
But that is just my impression, so giving how this is revolut, it might be different this afternoon.
Not all is what it seems with that offer either.
Care to explain?!
It's mentioned already further back in this thread, just conditions attached and many reports of users never actually getting the 60
Who can actually apply for loans with Revolut? I see people talking about getting loans but if I go to the section it just says to Join a waitlist for credit. Is it only Metal plan accounts that can apply so far?
Not me. I'm still waiting for them to offer Irish users their credit card https://www.revolut.com/en-LT/credit-cards
I ordered 2 new cards as replacements and wasn't charged. It tells you before you order how much it'll be. They have some 'designer' cards which are extra.
I got the standard Visa one and the Mastercard charity one. I took the opportunity to cancel a physical too instead of ordering the replacement. I had 4 physical ones and notifications for 3 of them to be replaced. Got them all for free over the years.
I can and I'm on the free version.
Maybe Revolut is using some sort of spending analytics to offer loans only to people they hope will be tempted to give them a try?
