The biggest issue is getting them into the black sea in the first place ,
They should have used their migs to attack the Russians ships .
They have lost the sea of azoz permanently to Russia ,at this stage Russia could kick them out of the black sea
Im pretty sure the switchblade is a single piece, might be a reference to the command unit rather than the drone
One of the things that people forget is that the Ukrainians are taking casualties, possibly heavy too, due to their reliance on close range weapons. Switchblades might help them stand off and engage targets from distance
Have to give it to the US, backing zelensky well compared to many EU countries
Seems as how you've been taking notes: I've been calling the Russians "Russkis" and the Americans "Yanks" too :) That may have escaped your sensitivities though.
Here's the Krauts being typically Krautish. From the mouths of babes and strange orange coloured men I suppose
Everyone of those nations despise Russia and for good reason- they’ve had centuries of their pillaging
Watching a few of the recent reaction videos on YouTube filmed on streets in Russia, it doesn't even seem to have occurred to anyone that Putin could lose the war and be forced to retreat (so relentless has the propaganda been and the non stop lies to cover up that the invasion is failing). If it becomes evident to the public that things have gone totally pear shaped, goodness knows what their reaction will be....I don't think they are prepared for it.
They will do a north Korea and declare they won the fifa world cup by a record score ,
They have cards to play including putting the Azoz batillion prisoners on display showing how Russia has taken the best Ukrainian units prisoners and freed Mariupol and taken the port back to Russian ownership
AZOV
Still no confirmation but a large enough vessel seems to be in distress off Odessa in the black sea
Have you seen the size of it? It would take some heavy duty bang bangs to shift that and you'd have assume it's well protected from air and sea attacks
A potential propaganda coup for the Ukrainians (and an actual military success of major note) 'if' it proves to be correct.
Even the name of the ship is very symbolic - Russian name for Moscow.
You're right. Pretty sure you'd need some major boom booms to deal any significant damage to that bridge. Ammo that could be better used elsewhere.
I'll bite 😛
Capital controls were abolished in Russia this week firstly.
Secondly it must be great for a country to be able to have the ability to swiftly to protect it's currency and raise interest rates in order to limit damage from unexpected economic shocks. If you think about it, you could be trapped in a gigantic ponzi scheme where the central bank is petrified to raise interest rates and turn off the endless supply of printed money because if they do the countries that rely on that printed money will collapse and take everyone down with it as well.
We will see on Thursday what they plan to do, probably raise rates for the first time in 10 year up to MINUS 0.25% 🤣
Thirdly pay in roubles or no gas.
What a scalp if true
Even if not sunk could it likely take it out of action for repairs.
If one of the missiles hit the right place then the munitions it's carrying will do the job for them. If it is on fire anything is possible.
The Russians won't confirm it anyway.
We'll know the truth in the morning from satellite photos of a damaged ship or oil slick or the ship with no damage. Obviously I'm hoping it's the oil slick.
How does a Kiwi living in Switzerland end up with 4,000 posts on an Irish discussion board?
There she's blows

What is it thinking about?
Just looking through all the wars Russia has (basically) started since WWII (and by god there has been a lot! They seem to be perpetually fighting someone) have they ever come up against an equally well equipped/trained army as Ukraine?
Distress calls... Supposedly 4 Russian ships coming to it's aid.
Looks like the Russians at the airport near Kherson are taking a hammering tonight..
BLAST THEM TOO !!!! I HOPE THEY ALL SINK !!!
"Sending a morse code" sounds a bit unbelievable, though. And that being reported on twitter even more unlikely.
Putin:
We have decided to send our beloved "Moskva" on a "Special Deep Sea Bed Exploration Operation" to seek out sub-marine Nazis
We plan to never see her again as we have decided that the planned decision is to decisively plan the eventual outcome
Hit it again!
It is readying itself for a special submarine operation.
I highly doubt the yanks and Brits haven't been sending dumb/older munitions along with the higher tech stuff. Hopefully this can be the start of the real fightback.
