We have an empty 4 bed house , 5 weeks now since we pledged it .Not a word from them except a very quick phone call to say they will be in touch .Now while I fully understand that we need to be vetted etc its very frustrating now to see refugees bundled into a hotel down the road and this stands vacant and furnished and equipped for a baby . I blame the government who dumped this on the Red Cross and they quite simply do not have the man power for it .

Sickening to see this, but this is the difference between here and Russia. In Ireland People have the freedom to protest like this without the threat of prison or deportation.
This is only a very small group of people doing this but they seem to be getting huge coverage for it. I went down the dark pit of looking at the comments section on a Daily mail article about it, and people from the UK thinking that people in Ireland support Russia now because of this, as normal with that rag their are some real anti irish comments on it as well.

If you look at the google maps negative reviews there are a lot that are coming from Ukraine rather than locally. Most of the local support with Slavic names are in Ireland(I saw one tha was from the furthest east coast of Russia). The wider Russian bots/supporters haven't copped to it yet, but the Ukrainian ones have.
