edit: beaten to an explanation I see
Can't see it happening.
They've put up an unreal defence, but it'll be quite another thing to take on a better equipped opponent who are well entrenched and in friendly territory. Ukraine will have no air or sea support whatsoever. They are likely running low on fuel, ammo and spares for their vehicles with only limited resupply. Not to mention their troops are likely to be exhausted given the intensity of the fighting already.

Australia is the worlds largest exporter of LNG. Most of it currently goes to China, but with relations between them and Australia being very frosty for some time now, this would be a golden opportunity for Australia to give some epic grief to China and to wean itself further from their economic influence. If the Japanese could be persuaded to re start their nuclear reactors and so reduce their very large intake of LNG from Oz, Australia might be able to completely supplant Russian gas in Germany. This could possibly be done in a very short time frame that woud be mostly dependent on how fast Japan can switch back and the import capacity of existing LNG terminals in Germany and Europe.
We've written a winner!
Talking of contracts do you honestly believe that the multi billion euro pipeline contract for Nordstream 2 had a get out clause for one party to unilaterally suspend it once it had been completed ?
He probably realises a trip to The Hague or a Dutch courtroom is more likely now after Vlad's illegal jaunt into Ukraine.

The commander of 49th Mechanised Brigade, a Colonel Medvechek, is believed to have been killed by his own soldiers, angry at the huge scale of their losses.
They ran him over due to the scale of his loses. He died later from his injuries. Its mutiny.
This is from March 10th, and even back then he didn't sound too optimistic. I guess in the new video he was a lot more unhappy.
♪Putin thought Ukraine and Russia were one place
Made up a plan to invade that land
Says to Zelenskyy, 'Hey, boy, I don't like your face'
So Zelenskyy asks us, 'Who will lend a hand?'
Oblast this, oblast that... ♪
Seemingly that's the FSB guy who was charged with the MH17 attack and who led the separatists in the Donbass for some time. Here's a suggested translation:
Great. We saw all those demonstrations there from Ukrainian people over the weeks....the invaders simply weren't wanted.
I think it's pretty clear that Russia in its current state isn't in the world's interest.
Get out.
This is not a surprise but it is huge news and a massive blow to the invaders.
I doubt Zelenskyy woke up this morning thinking "Right, if I can talk the Irish around we'll have this sorted in a week". Maybe there's an eye on the future as well but he'll be aiming more getting it picked up elsewhere.
Of course not ..he wants france then germany will follow ..and with those two ..the rest will come.
Russia is just about to have half of its gold frozen.
As regards tying assets ...it ties a rising tangible asset to a rouble that is falling in price. I am certain i am not the only one seeing what will happen for putin.
But anyhow as he can't change the contract I would expect this is all for show and he actually just wants dollars.
Indeed, I'm not sure why people are confident that Putin will be able to hold on to Donbas and Crimea without difficulty if he decides to give up on Kyiv - all bets are off at this stage.
Yeah, I have no problem with there being more than one large power in the world so that they keep each other acting sanely. Unfortunately for Russia, they're not acting sanely, and they're not heeding calls to act so, therefore they need to fall on their arse and learn their place, which is well behind China.
Not really it only accounts for 10% of Europe's needs overall. The problem will be finding the other 90%. LNG is quite expensive compared to piped gas nevermind the costs to transport it, to give some idea it takes 20 of those LNG tanker ships with the big tennis balls on them to compensate for 30 minutes of piped gas and Nordstream 1 is pumping gas 24 hours a day.
I reckon Russia will struggle to hold onto the donbas region especially how strong the Ukrainians have shown themselves to be more men and equipment than every before and the ability to hit day or night ,can't see Russia throwing tens of thousands of men to shore up an area that has any real strategic value to them ,
Even Crimea could look Shakey over the next few months
Things and stuff.
Nobody was talking about the actual music or how people might interpret or enjoy it: I was talking about the organisers being perfectly entitled to try and use what limited power they have to try and make a statement in support of its performers and/or Ukraine in general.
Which I called tokenistic. The question of banning conductors close to Putin is one thing. Pretending to do something by the choice of music played is not a stand against anything. In that case donating the box office returns is a far better and more practical statement. Protesting about nationality is really a very slippery slope.
A pretty good watch honestly and a surprisingly accurate assessment for a Russian source.
One thing to note is that this is dated from over two weeks ago; not sure why it's being presented as some sort of new dissatisfaction as a result of the Kremlin's "new strategy".
EDIT:
Nevermind; it looks like the subbed version you posted is actually from a different broadcast. He's wearing a different shirt in the original.
Well if they're ruled by a war criminal and invade other countries we'll take a weak and unstable Russia everyday of the week.
We are all such intelligentsia. A few months ago, none of us knew what an Oblast was.
Now we're all "Oblast this and Oblast that"......
Damn you Beetles.....aarrgghhh...
Yes and that criticism from the "music establishment" was equally tone deaf. Nobody was suggesting banning the 1812 Overture; and in this particular case it was claimed that an actual member of the orchestra had family "directly involved [with the situation in] in Ukraine"; which seems like a pretty decent reason even aside from any public facing statement or support that might have been intended.
And your assumption that they were just "leftist arts administrators" is just the same as the one I made about you being a right-wing pearl-clutcher; and that's the primary reason I made it: to illustrate how silly it is.
