What oom for waterford are you please if you don't mind me asking, I'm up in the 70s and really hoping I'll get something
I am not sure about shifts but it all depends on which office you are in and people (they have many branches, like HR, HRPD, Commissioners, etc, I know press department works shifts and IT).
otherwise CO usually do not work shifts but have flexi time.
Regarding what is it like to work for it -it is not very popular department when it comes to likes. If you are in a lovely team with great AP backup it can be enjoyable, otherwise miserable existence. And it is not due to bad people but very poor management and lack of communication.

Guys, I got an email saying that I was under consideration for a position from the CO panel for Dublin in 15/02. I had sent all the documentation and had finished my Garda vetting link by the 17/02. My vetting was disclosed on the 03/03 and I haven’t heard anything else since. I know 6 days don’t sound like much but I’m in such an anxious state… did anyone have their vetting disclosed and also haven’t been contacted yet?
@sfr2022 My oom is 36. I emailed last month regarding what oom etc they were at and they advised me at the time they had reached number 20 and also in the last campaign they got to OOM 216 for Co Waterford so I'm sure you will get called soon!
I am in the early 30's and I haven't heard anything yet for Cavan

depends on the locations you chose, if Dublin or Cork would be fairly quick

Friend of mine had issues with their laptop so they used their phone for the interview without any problems.
I've only ever used my iphone and I've done 3 of these now for different comps with zero problems
same i used Iphone, the screen defaults to the middle so you need to swipe left or right (i cant remember)to see the entire interview panel. You can download the app and do a dummy run off it on zoom. During my interview the panel we grand they said they see i wouldn't be any use at using tinder because i couldn't swipe left...put me at ease

Mine is moving fairly fast i sent off my garda vetting in the past few days. I was given a start date an all today which im delighted with i wasn't expecting such a quick turn around 😀
