No they have several thermobaric weapons , including hellfire missles on apache helicopters that have thermobaric warheads ,
The Moab was a once off waste of a weapon
or on some cold-war vehicles, a specific cranking tool is carried on the tank.
Oh good grief, now you've reminded me of 'Ice Cold In Alex'! :D
The Russians have "smaller ones" on a multiple launch system, very nasty, carpet bomb effect. I believe the Ukrainians actually captured one in a field recently. Russia handed them to Assad to "deal with ISIS" (aka kill anyone opposed to Assad)
Several still exist, and they are notably functional.
The problem is that if you make this stance public, that will only embolden the Russians to murder people in other civilised countries. There comes a time when you have to draw a red line and say "No more!"
The solution, as I see it, is for the civilised world to have a "last use" policy on nukes. That is, if Russia invades another civilised country, we won't use nukes first. But we will make sure that any nuclear attack by the Russians is the last things they ever do.
Thermobaric Rockets Which Can ‘Vaporise Human Bodies’ Are Being Used In Ukraine By Russian Forces

Very interesting thanks. Their absolute resolve in the face of all this is amazing.
Have there been any pro-Russia posters today? How can they possibly justify the death of all those children in the Childrens’ Hospital? Maybe the most abhorrent thing that I have read since reading about the Nazi war-crimes…
I'd drink in that pub
Obviously I know nothing about anything, but:
I don't think Ukraine has the will nor capability to match Russia in "open field" warfare. They're not going to line up their tanks and engage in a large-scale action to try and drive back significant numbers of the enemy. About the most they seem to be doing is going into strategic locations or assaulting small towns when the bulk of Russian forces aren't in the immediate area.
Their strategy seems to be to slow down and bleed the Russian advance as much as possible whilst pushing for additional anti-aircraft capabilities in particular; and all the while hoping that diplomacy can somehow prevail.
On the polish mig 29s , do the Ukrainians have enough trained pilots ? With enough hours to be relevant ? These jets have been adapted to NATO standards , I've no idea what that means for the pilots -bit probably more training ,
Also the mig 29 is a thirsty beast with poor range , so putting it in western Ukraine may not be the greatest either , and if the whole thing is a major risk of achieving nothing and a greater drain on resources than it's worth especially with already stretched supply lines , then it'd be a waste of resources -
Waiting on the Jerusalem post to tell us the negotiations are going well
A Putin Pisser!
Targeting sick kids makes me nauseous. Every mouth piece, both nationally and internationally, peddling nonsense propaganda for the Gremlin are morally responsible for these war-crimes against humanity. They can hold their head high, knowing that they support a regimen that doesn’t think twice of murdering all the kids in the Ukraine equivalent of Crumlin and the Coombe.
F*ck those evil bastards. I sincerely hope that there is a hell and that these people spend eternity screaming in despair
Putin is a habitual line steeper. He needs to be punched in the nose and then dragged into a cage. A quick death is too good for him.
Maybe I'm a bit jaded at this point but I'm pretty sure NATO's red line is only getting involved if or when Article 5 is triggered. I'm not sure there's anything Putin could do to the Ukrainians that would prompt a NATO response if they haven't responded already; but maybe I'm wrong.
The MiG charade to me seems to support that position: they were planning for Poland to supply the MiGs directly and then use Article 5 to respond in a limited fashion if Russia targeted any Polish targets. It is/was an attempt at slow escalation and a gradual exertion of pressure.
Russian government outraged at collective activism by organised labour and asks US to take action.
Crikey!
Growing up it was Beruit. I barely remember pictures on the news, but that's the first word came to mind seeing that.
Thank god we weren't saturated with images and only had the evening news on rté.
How are kids today processing this?
It may not matter as it is unlikely to happen, or is it? There's so much confusion with the MIG story, one minute it's happening, the next it's not.
What possibly was the rationale for Poland to say "here, we have fighter jets. We'll send them to you in Landstuhl and you use them in Ukraine" Wtf was that about?
You certainly can't beat Russian propaganda.
I can only hope that there is hell and karma coming to Putin and Russia. I hope they accidently bomb a NATO landmark and force the 30 countries of NATO to enter the war and bomb and destroy Russia off the map of the world so badly that they couldn't have time to launch their nucleur facilities. The wheel turns slowly. We will all do fine without Russia.
I would've preferred if they figured it out away from media
it was so painful seeing it happening then unhappening.
Anyone watching the SKY news in-person interview with Zelenskyy?
Yep, seems like rock solid evidence, so keep butchering those children, comrades.
Kuntz.😢
Why didn't you do it in so many other parts of the world? Stop with the waffle.
Wonder if we can get a list of threadbanned posters added to the first page
Da Comrade.
