McDonalds earlier, Proctor and Gamble
Not going by Zelenskyys speech earlier,
Wouldn't read too much into what the Jerusalem times is saying
I wonder why Bangladesh didn't condemn the Russians, I mean, its not like Russia supplies it with food or anything right? They might not want to get on their bad side.
It was posted on here ,
Cowards
I know you're terrified of peace breaking out, but this is coming from sources involved rather then Jerusalem Post speculation. They're just reporting it.
Yeah, i am not seeing much/anything about this outside of boards.
That's been noticed
Press aren't being briefed, it's just leaks and elbow nudges.
It's bs though .
We know you desperately want ukraine to surrender and accept Russian occupation, just because you saw it ,it doesn't make it true.....
Your post aged like fine milk
looks like a lot of cities are under aerial bombardment threat tonight, all across the east and centre of Ukraine
Who would have thought a country could actually be Cancelled
Well half a million fled into Russia , and a million and a half or so fled to the rest of Ukraine ,wouldn't surprise me if there's not many left ... Can't have been a fun place to live for the last while ..
The capability exists. Just search for: Aegis icbm.
Anyone who murders innocent children is insane in my book. Completely evil and devoid of empathy towards the suffering of other humans.
I realise how entertained you are by war, probably larping as a soldier in your bedroom watching all the 'kill' videos. I'm more about trying to end the conflict and making an effort to weed out info about talks of peace rather than cheering on for endless war. Hope that's okay with you.
I completely understand the need to report on economic sanctions against Russia.
But is this kind of reporting actually necessary?
Pepsi is significant symbolically as they were one of the first American countries to do deals in the USSR... all the way back in 1971... being paid in vodka.
I have to say, I'm getting a bit uncomfortable with some of the boycotts. Especially the cultural ones. Russians taking part in the arts are going to be almost overwhelmingly anti-regime. We have to be careful just how far we go to punish and ostracise every day Russians.
Would your study of IR give you a greater understanding of the situation do you think, than say a former Russian Foreign minister?
Or would such a person perhaps be better placed to appreciate the intricacies of the present situation?
And a large navy.
If individual companies are uncomfortable providing services in a given country - whether it be North Korea or Russia - that's not punishing ordinary Russians; it's more about protesting against the regimes in charge of those countries.
It's a popular dating app and to some young Russians probably bothers them more than any footage of bombed Ukrainian cities.
I'm just curious to see how quickly all these companies will rush back in as soon as there's a peace deal. This is unsustainable
Zelinsky announced today that he has given up his intention of joining NATO and he is open to discussing independence of Donbas.
The Israeli claim of a narrowing gap between Zelensky and Putin seems accurate.
Last orders for McDonalds...
🥲
I think there is a bit of secrecy knocking about. Everyone is surprised that Russia have not gained total air supremacy. It is clear they have been given help. They just can't admit it.
They will be back in the very next day after the peace deal, guaranteed.
It's amazing that a very ugly, bald, small man has so much power over ordinary Russians - who he claims to care about - yet is subjecting them to the worst possible life experience.
What do we do about the population that is against the regime? push them into the regime's arms by punishing them? I'm all for the financial sanctions, seizing assets abroad etc - but some of this is going too far and is driven by a noisy mob on social media. I can't recall the story exactly, but a racing team dropped their Russian driver because...he's Russian. Not for me, I don't subscribe to that kind of stuff.
500 in New Zealand have offered to fight
Population of NZ is 5m vs Canada at 38m.
"More than 500 Kiwis have volunteered to fight in Ukraine against Russia, according to Ukraine's honorary consul in Auckland, who is warning them not to join the fight.
Ukraine has received military hardware support from the West, but no countries, or Nato, have provided troops. Instead, volunteers are beginning to arrive in the country to fight for Ukraine.
Ukraine's foreign minister has said 20,000 from around the world have volunteered to fight in its International Legion following Russia’s invasion at the end of February."
