Ditto. Maybe in 10 or 15 years after it gets its house in order. The EU offer was PR/propaganda/support in nature. Ukraine has made some progress, but it's still one of the most corrupt nations in Europe, with a simmering civil war in her eastern regions.
It's typical of the behaviour in authoritarian dictatorships backed by state propaganda. If they were to admit that Russia was doing wrong, then by extension they would have to admit the regime was corrupt and that Putin is a war criminal. It's too big a leap for them.....to deny everything is the simpler option.

The Ukrainians were not supported militarily by US/EU/NATO, that hasn't changed. What has changed is that US/EU are sending as much military aid as possible (stingers, anti-tank weapons, supplies, etc)
Why would they flee? It appears they have decided to fight (and die). They are in a very dire situation (which will likely grow darker) but it's no secret they have inflicted significant damage to the invaders, who are certainly struggling in areas
If there's a convoy heading towards Kyiv why don't the Ukraine's drop bombs from a plane or do the Russians have planes flying over it protecting the massive convoy?
Ukrainian airforce is weak, Russian airforce is strong. Likewise Russians have anti-air. The few remaining aircraft the Ukrainians have take massive risks when they fly anywhere in the S, N or East of the country. That said, it appears some Ukrainian aircraft have managed to bomb some of the convoy.
One thing that is indirectly irritating about the whole situation is that there is apparently no situation too grave that certain pundits won't come up with an edgy take on it for money.

Yeah, I've been wondering exactly how much the convoy has been facing. When you're travelling through a country you're invading, there has to be significant risk of ambush attacks, IEDs, bombs etc.
One thing the IRA used to to do was hit the first vehicle in a British army convoy, which would then block the road, then they'd move in while the British army guys were trying to clear it off the road. These Russians don't seem to be that sophisticated in their own tactics. Maybe that kind of thing would work against them? Maybe it's already going on, I don't know.

I think you're stretching, there. I welcome Biden's condemnation of Russia, and the more he announces the U.S. is doing to hurt them, the better, until they stop this war. I'm not a particular fan of the way Qatar does things, but Biden's lack of condemnation for that country does not invalidate his condemnation of Russia. If you were to condemn only one country doing bad things, it would still be infinitely better than zero.

In the eyes of ,in this case Russians, I would think they find it quite rich that the allies/west are trying to reason or reach them by taking a moral, self righteous stance, especially if they really don’t know how aggressive/destructive the Russian army is being. Probably will take revolutionary level uprising to get them out of that mindset.
If Putin made statements during the Iraqi war, trying to reason with the west cause people, families and children are dieing. Nobody in the west would listen.
One major difference is perhaps the sanctions which individual Russians will feel. Will that turn Russians against their leaders or paradoxically enhance their support? If the people don’t trust the west, then they might think the west is attacking them for trying to bring peace to Ukraine.

Well, ehen this happens in other wars, the attacker says there were military targets in the building, using it for shelter or sniping or reconnaissance or whatever else. When it's "our side" we say they are using civilians as human shields by sheltering in civillian areas. I presume the Russians will say the same things in this instance. Clear they're shelling an apartment block but the reasons will just go down as he said she said.
I hope Russia rots as a country and Putin killed. The UN, West, NATo all watching this and doing nothing you are all a disgrace. You deserve all you get for letting this happen to innocent civilians you dirty corrupt p$icks.
