Interesting! I'm investigating for my daughter in the UK. She's spending £650 a month on petrol at the moment. She can charge at home but only with a granny (renting!). Electric prices are very high there though (she's currently paying 26c/unit v. the 9c night rate I pay here) and it's due a big increase in April which could potentially push it it close to 40c!
She could install a charger for less than 1 months rent.

Can you get 5p/kwh? Because of the complete and utter balls-up that is the UK electricity market I can't find any suppliers even offering a service never mind at a competitive price.
Gets 7.5 I believe there’s 5p available if you look for it.

octupus has a agile dynamic tariff that even offers negative pricing. You get paid for using it. The Ohme charger is set up to avail of this. You can set a price limit , once the tariff drops below it’ll charge your car
