All of these the Ukranians have confirmed and acknowledged, as well as rejecting responsibility and blaming on Russia.

Ukrainian citizens are behind that, at least half of Donbas wants nothing to do with Ukraine and wants to join Russia, the people of Donbas have been fighting a war to break away from Ukraine and join Russia, Russia has given them some support such as supplying weapons to help them but they still don't recognize the self declared independent Republic of Donbas and still recognise it as part of Ukraine.

The same thing that has been going on for the last several years in Donbas, I'm simply stating the Ukrainian government have said the situation now is no worse than before and they have consistently claimed that the recent fear and panic created over the situation in the last few months has come from the USA and is not the reality.
I don't know the exact reasons why they are doing this but the Ukrainian president claimed "This is speculation, but the US might still try to undermine the Nord Stream project, the pipeline between Russia and Germany, there is a very clear economic interest – there are gas producers in the US who are direct competitors with Russia"
