what part of the story do you think is incorrect?
Who thought Trump has a Gmail account? There was a screenshot of a Trump campaign email which was sent TO a Gmail account. That doesn't mean the email came FROM a Gmail account. As I noted at the time, I receive the same emails to a dummy Gmail account I have. Those emails come FROM a @ donaldjtrump email address TO a Gmail account (used to sign up to the newsletter). That doesn't mean they come FROM a Gmail account.
I would have to look back but I seem to remember somebody saying that the trump email posted must be fake because it came from a gmail address and trump wouldn't use a gmail address. and it was said by a trump supporter.
Another "drive-by fart" comment, where the poster won't stick around to discuss.
Are you denying he took boxes of documents from the White House?
Legal? It makes no difference with Trump. No one will charge him. No matter their party affiliation.
Yes. I think the poster got confused because the image posted was the Trump email received to a Gmail account, not from a Gmail account belonging to Trump. Post quoted above by everlast75. The email address that sent the Trump newsletter only shows "contact@" but doesn't show the rest of the address due to being a mobile screenshot.
and it looks like it was the same poster that time as well. and you gave the same explanation as well. I guess it didn't take.
I thought that too initially. I thought they were going to throw him under the bus and start distancing themselves from him to step back from the lunatic fringe elements he embraced.
I was wrong.
The problem is, according to Trump, and the GOP:
his behaviour in loosing
He didn't lose. It was stolen. Any and ALL actions/reactions are valid and justified.
his behaviour during covid
Regarding Covid: According to trump's klan (And the GOP it seems). Covid is, simultanuously:
The GOP is abusing their core, long-standing demographic to pursue these fringe elements. Of course the GOP has always had issues with discrimination on many fronts (Most conservative parties do. By their very nature) but now the GOP is embracing white nationalists and QANON loons (Every one is a moron. Period) and conspiracy theorists, fascists and terrorists. But who are their long-standing members going to vote for? Democrats? Not likely. So they will embrace terrorists. Will encourage intimidation of politicians. Will encourage voter intimidation. These are not conspiracy theories. This is GOP policy because while they don't condemn trump for telling terrorists such as the proud boys to "stand down and stand by". While they don't condemn trump for saying white nationalists are "fine people". While they don't condemn trump for threatening Clinton: "If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the second amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.". While they don't condemn these from their candidate, they endorse it. He SPEAKS for the party. They censure/abandon long-standing members of their own party for investigating the terrorist attack on the capitol (Which it was).
The GOP has sold its soul. But they are OK with that if it means they will win because that's all it's about.
News breaking this evening that Robert Mueller considered strongly to charge Donald Trump Jr and Roger Stone with accessing a third party website of the Democratic Party Computers with a password provided by Wikileaks.
So whats trending on Twitter, the hashtag #lockherup and #arrestHillaryforTreason as mostly bot farm type accounts try to push the message that she tried to infiltrate Trump Tower Servers.
'Accuse others of that which you are guilty' once again comes screaming to the front of my mind.
It's actually looking like this guy is writing these himself and publishing them unvetted.
Bigger than watergate, calling for executions, and most bizarrely, reparations, and yet the most head shaking thing about the release is he mixed up Muellers first name with that of John Durham.
This is the guy who is current favourite to be next President of the USA? The more stuff like this comes out, the less I see it actually happening. I think McConnell and others know that as well which is why they are starting to publicly speak against him.
I'll say it again - the guy is one of the biggest and most proven losers to ever occupy the office. He lost absolutely everything he could've lost in that 4 years - the House, the Senate, the Presidency and whatever dignity he possessed before taking office. All of them went entirely out the window - and yet, Republicans seem to see him as their fearless leader, who will lead them back to greatness.
It doesn't say much for the intellect of the average American voter, honestly.
Now it's posts like THAT that may EVENTUALLY start the GOP thinking about their opinion/support of trump. Because you know this is the tip of the iceberg and if more and more of these come out, even his most die-hard klan members will see that he's lost the plot.....
THEN he may run as an independent. This would be the worst situation for the GOP but trump is not a Republican. He's simply a trumpian. Now that I think about it, I suppose this is the reason the GOP are chickening out of condemning a terrorist and his terrorist followers.
You can tell it was written by Trump because at the end he suggests he should now be owed money.
That's why I'm thinking the table is turning on his standing within his own circle and party. That clearly went straight from him to being released.
In todays world of hyper PR management, that this is happening with a literal former President and current bookies favourite for 2024 indicates either a loose cannon, or that there's very few people around him looking out for him to prevent any questionable messaging.
Any wonder the GOP have sought to ensure the candidate for 2024 will 'not' take part in Presidential debates.
It was somewhat understandable when he was coming out with nonsense on Twitter, this is a different thing entirely.
Donald Trump has every right to be furious if John Durhams claims are true that Hillary Clinton campaign paid tech firm to hack into white house and Trump tower servers to find Russia links.
John Durhams investigation has already brought charges against a FBI attorney and a Hillary Clinton campaign worker.
It's disgusting form by the democrats and I am shocked by posters here having more issue with Donald Trump's reaction than the actions of the Democrats here which are nothing short of Treason.
im no fan of trump but calling him proven loser is harsh considering the amount of republicans he beat to get to be republican nominee
What are your thoughts on the news that Mueller considered that Donald Trump Jr and Roger Stone essentially did the same thing that Durham is accusing someone connected with HC having done.
I think this 'news' about HC is mostly being pushed to distract from that.
He's lost the popular vote in every election he has ever run in.
John Durham the proven liar that was appointed by the corrupt Bill Barr?! That John Durham?! Dear oh dear, you guys really will believe anything. Meanwhile not a word from you about Donnie taking top secret classified documents down to Florida for any Tom, Dick or Harry to gain access to. Don't worry, we already know who the traitor is.
Don't you mean Vlad, Kim Jong and Xi to access? I wonder how secure the movers were.
Slate ran an interesting story - they interviewed a plumber who said basically it was nigh unto impossible for the documents to be flushed down a toilet, the clogging would've been disastrous. https://slate.com/human-interest/2022/02/donald-trump-flushing-documents-toilet-plumber-interview.html
It's pretty fair since he's still claiming he won the election...
I want everyone who broke the law punished. But somehow Trump manages to avoid punishment
He lost the house, lost the senate, lost the presidency and was impeached twice. That hardly makes him a winner, to be fair.
Most republicans lose the popular vote
Beating two impeachment attempts makes him a winner in that respect does it not. Lost the presidency in no small part to a global pandemic that was weaponized against him. Without the pandemic he'd still be in office.
His numbers were terrible before the pandemic hit. But you are right, the pandemic, or more accurately his complete inability to deal with it in any sort of professional manner, certainly moved many of those on the fence to see how unqualified he was for the job.
Nobody blamed Trump for the pandemic, people saw how how lied, ignored professional advice and attempted to politicise it and that was a step too far.
They weren't attempts, he was impeached twice.
That would make most Republicans losers, wouldn't it?
The Pandemic should have had him waltz home if he had deferred to science, spoke about unity, not focusing on politics etc, etc.
He ccouldn't do it.
