I'd refer you back to Robbie Hennellys interview last year. You're exactly the species that it is aimed at. Both individuals getting Mayo to numerous All-Irelands, and you there saying they are getting free passes. Haven't a clue. County is better off without the likes of you pretending to be a fan.
Interesting that you dismiss all those who believed that getting rid of H & C was wrong as either having a vested interest in their continuing or just being clueless. Being a Mgr of a County Team is a results driven business just like premiership, if you don't deliver you are fired. How can you explain player revolt after one season with H & C but fine for Horan to be in his 8th season having not delivered in first 7.
A lot of those from H & C time have now retired \ moved on. I wonder with the hindsight of this past 7\8 years do they ask themselves were their actions then the biggest mistake of their careers and what ultimately cost them an AI.
If you know, you know, and you clearly don’t, and I’ve neither the time to waste nor the inclination to be bothered to educate you. I’m sure you can find all you need if you bother to look.
I think we might need to consider not feeding the trolls on this thread.I know I've been guilty of replying myself but the agendas would sicken your hole.
The same lads that are delighted to be sharing made up WhatsApp messages with glee are the lads who in the next sentence complain that Mayo football is a circus.
You’re 100% correct there HBC08. I’m reminded of a quote often wrongly attributed to various people like Abraham Lincoln, Mark Twain and Oscar Wilde about wrestling with pigs.
It’s best avoided.
Noted. Thanks.
Someone get the TG4 cameraman a cloth to wipe that camera
Tissue even. A kleenex Hanky. Please.
Not rocket science
The lens got a wipe.
Any "gossipy" news I've heard has been very accurate. That's all I'll say on the matter and I didn't get it from any gossip circles.
Brutal picture quality and the match isnt much better at the moment. Hennelly keeping things respectable.
They really need to increase the license fee so they can afford to hire a professional lens wiper.
This match wasn't brought to us by any license fee afaik.
Maybe 'wiping the kens' is too menial a role for the camera man to undertake.
To think there have been calls to drop Aido from the panel
That’s what’s behind him
We will miss him when we goes
Yet the old failings keep coming to light. That high ball he came for could have gone anywhere. Can't keep repeating the same mistakes.
Its a day made for Aido, expect to see him in 2nd half.
On a separate note the guy on the tannoy is great craic.
" can somebody in the office PLEASE turn on the scoreboard?"
" Can the owner of car reg xxxxxxx move it now or the Gards will tow it and it won't be there when ya get back"
A Chairde, our camera operators are constantly wiping the camera lenses out of vision. We are doing our best in difficult circumstances.
At least they are aware of the issue :-)
No indeed, there's a few guys calling for direct exchequer funding of RTE in the licence fee thread but this isn't an advert for it.
I'm afraid the highlights of the Aussie Open final on BBC are a bigger draw for me ATM...
Hennelly keeping us in it yet again :-)
Shoulod have been a goal there
Good man Robbie
Good man Robbie. We'll take that
Brilliant
They just showed footage of the cameraman. I'm not surprised he couldn't wipe that camera, he was nearly blown away up there!
He did well to stand up with the way the scaffolding was moving about.
Could be a big point that.
Excellent second half performance in fairness.
great comeback given the situation, and its also a point on the board moving forward,
Heavy wet pitches are tailor made for O Shea , and his presence helped Mayo gain the initiative and bring others into play.,
The GAA needs to look at time wasting. Donegal players went down twice in injury team yet the referee didn't add on time. Even though we were down to 14, I felt it was there for the taking if there was another couple of minutes.
Huge effort from the players in the last twenty minutes, deserved the draw. Great to see Doherty back. Full forward is where we might see him this year.
