Christmas Forum Meetup/Drinks?

So by now you may have heard the little bit of news that the pubs have allowed to re-open fully and the conversation started up again about a few Forum drinks?

I think it's massively long overdue we meet up for some drinks and we better get it all in before COVID 2.0 hits.

Safe to say a Dublin location (possibly even North Dublin) suits, time wise I would propose 3 options;

July
September

I picked those 3 months as they're the only out of season ones that don't have bank holidays so it may be easier to get together.

Again lets hear your thoughts, opinions,ideas etc.

Feb is a busy month for me so would defo be difficult to manage anything else in that time, July might be a runner, but being summer anything could be happening, september would stand out as being the most suitable, for me anyway, but whatever the general consensus is I'd do my best to be involved.

September sounds good, we'll be getting ready for Christmas again at that stage. July tends to miss too many with people away on hols. And Feb is just too soon to be thinking straight.

I'm happy with September as well. July isn't ideal for me with year end and summer hols would be hard to nagivate. September is one of the last stops before the madness begins so its ideal really.

Great idea, LoughC. Count me in for that. While I always tend to start thinking of Christmas in the summer, I agree that September would probably be most suitable. There may even be some Christmas stuff in the shops at that stage. Would it be too early to break out the Christmas jumpers? 😂 I am joking (honestly!)

Great this is out there, I know we have joked about it a few times, however would be great to put faces to names! Agree with the general conscious so far that Sept would be a good time. Especially as we'll all be in Christmas jumpers.........wouldn't we?!?!

Awh I'm used to it...have a 2 and a half year old. The first few weeks really are torture though but sure we'll survive...I hope 🤣
