This question goes out those who took the 2 jabs? Will you you take it to get back to normality? Or are you sick of the government moving the goalposts constantly?
Still need it for travel so will still tick along cos of that.
With how little the protection lasts with them, I'm trying to wait until mid February to help cover me for travelling.
If someone has recently been infected with omicron, they do not need a booster 3 months later with a vaccine that was designed for a variant that is long extinct several years ago. It might actually harm their immunity. I got three vaccines and then infected with omicron (no symptoms). If if ever take another covid vaccine it will have to be some updated vaccine like they do the annual flu jab.
See at 16.11 on video.
I agree, coercion and medicine is a scary mix.
Assuming you want to travel you'll need it unless restrictions lessen in other EU countries (doubtful at this stage with how places like France, Austria and Germany are going)
What in that video supports your hypothesis that vaccines harm immunity?
The evil Dr John Campbell made another good video worth a listen to here re the endemic ending of omicron.

Read my post before replying.
Ive been boosted 🙄.
Vaccine passports will be dropped in due course.
Can travel to the USA without the booster as they still count 2 doses pfizer or 1 x J&J as fully vaxxed. I guess people will just take their money out of the EU.
@Woody79 that video refutes your point at 4:47.
Please provide more specific references, I'm not watching a half hour video to fact check one simple assertion.
🥱
It's basic courtesy to provide a time reference when quoting a long video.
The key phrase here is how things are going now in January. We were in the thick of things just over two weeks ago and now look at us. We may be the first EU country to drop everything. The question about restrictions in the EU could be moot in 4-6 weeks time.
I'll be surprised if the passport is dropped for travel anytime soon tbh. I'd say you'll need the 3rd dose for that for most of this year.
Are boosters all they are cracked up to be?
Benefit is marginal at best to some and potentially harmful to others.
I'd be surprised if your not surprised so. 🤣🤣🤣
They are a good call on the more at risk and given our lack of other tools at present probably a sensible decision. Is there any other evidence apart from a YouTube video? If someone requires 33 minutes to make a point they are in dire need of presentation skills training. There is a very good reason why Ted Talks max out at 18m!
i think youve made your point at this stage you dislike videos.
any time ive posted a video you make the same point.
who says they are a good call? YOU 🤣🤣🤣
Sarah Gilbert said the first dose is the most important dose and thet boosters are not needed.
Boosters should be targeted at specific cohorts (people over a certain age/people who have never been naturally infected).
Giving boosters to all in sundry is nuts.
Thats why there has been a poor uptake of boosters throughout the world.
People have some cop on.
Somehow you neglected to mention these other details in your first post and you've made that claim off a single YouTube video so it's perfectly reasonable to ask if there is further evidence of this other than a recorded opinion.
FYI on informational videos, 3-6m is deemed to be the sweet spot in instructional materials, with some considered "very good" maybe up to 15m. Ted Talks limits are based on science.
I've wasted many an hour on YouTube but view this stuff as self-indulgent, unstructured, prone to verbiage and often with an unchallenged agenda. In 33m an average reader could read and process up to eight 1,000 word articles on a topic.
Was supposed to get my booster this Wednesday. This morning I tested positive for covid (symptoms came on very abruptly yesterday). My GP said that means no booster for at least three months and pretty much added that because the existing vaccines are not very effectual against omicron I'm as well get an infection (assuming it stays mild) and develop natural immunity then get booster later in the year when the vaccinations have been tweaked
You have a good doctor unlike that wagon illona duffy. Campbell saying the same as your doc.
If anyone doesn't want to listen don't bother.
Yes, let’s listen to nurse John.
TBF, the advice has always been to wait for a period after testing positive before getting vaccinated, and the vaccine was developed to provide some, not complete immunity to Covid, particularly the pre-omicrone variants. I don’t think any scientist, or any knowledgeable healthcare professional, including nurse John, would guarantee you that there won’t be another variant which the vaccine may well offer protection against. Nurse John will not deal in absolutes, he doesn’t know anything more, but he is likely to know less than the infectious disease/virology experts who say this is not over by a long stretch.
There was always this risk that the tin hat brigade would have an “I told ya so” day at the end, whenever that may be. Good job most people just see them for what they are, as one bar owner said to me on Saturday after he was abused by an anti vaxxer, at least with the passes he had an excuse to keep the idiots out.
Yeah I reckon the travel restrictions will be gone by end of March.
@Dav010
Yes, let’s listen to nurse John
He was just reporting on a Pre-Omicron CDC Study. That's why I linked two videos reporting on it here: -
Hopefully but I feel that some EU countries will hold out and all countries will keep same rules for the sake of unity. Could be in place for rest of the year.
Well, the Dutch have moved to relax a bit this morning and are making the same noises NPHET made last week; high cases yes, but emergency is over. We can expect other countries to do the same over the next month or so as Omicron does its thing. I think the domestic use will go fairly quickly, they are really being used for vaccine and booster coercion but when we see them dropped for travel depends on how much of a tourist season a country wants.
Over 2 million subscribers.
That is some rant you went on 🤮🤢
Youtube is full of nutters/bluffers with millions of subscribers.
Ffs. Have to go to France for work and their booster rules are turning nuts in Feb. If less than 4 months after 15feb you have to have booster to be considered vaccinated. What is with this like.
Really don't want to get it yet, had my 2nd jab end of August and I'm early 20s. But I might have to 😫
