Anyone know what is his medical exception?
he is not being treated like a criminal. he is a hotel. the worst that will happen to him is that he gets sent back to wherever he came from.
Once the same immigration rules are being applied to everyone, he's not being treated unfairly.
In Italy, you have to be vaccinated now to play in their league, which is why Chris Smalling has just got jabbed because it would have hit him in the pocket. The tennis authorities could do this, and then Novak would have a choice to make. I do feel sorry for him treated like a criminal weather you agree with him or not though.
his visa was invalid because of public health rules.
I get my reliable news from...Patriotpost.us...dont you?
Agreed, and the by product is, unvaccinated people will stop entering discussion about it for fear of being treated the way he, and others are being treated by the mob rule, like we are witnessing here. The vaccine is not mandatory people need to understand that.
Except for all you know he wasn't excluded for "public health reasons" but for a mistake on a visa application. In which case "public health" hasn't been served but you're going to go ahead and cheer about it anyway.
public health is more important than a game of tennis. good on australia for recognising that and treating him the same as any other visitor.
Without even knowing what the medical exemption was for people are cheering Djockovic's exclusion, which I think is spiteful and small-minded.
Its true that he rubs some people up the wrong way but he is an athlete not a slick PR expert. If he had engaged in lots of Varadkar-like 'I feel your pain' mush that wouldn't change the facts on the ground.
For people who care about tennis its a bad result.
He is entitled not to get a vaccine but Australia are entitled to tell him to F off and we are all entitled to laugh at the conspiracy theorist idiots
Reminds me of a certain MMA personality here who's anti vax ,anti mask wearing regularly ranting about rising up and taking the country back
nonsense. they don't have the ability to check all aspects of the visa. that he went on a private plane means even less checks, not more. his visa wasn't cancelled mid-flight. they determined after he landed that he didn't meet the requirements for the visa he had.
Airlines are supposed to check the visas are valid and have supporting documents . I worked for a airline before as check in agent it's our job to do all the checks. Since he has a private plane he would've had to have everything confirmed before taking the jet. He wouldn't have been allowed to fly if not. The government have revoked his visa mid flight only using the story that his team made the mistake.
In your opinion. You don't need to resort to childish name calling though, for all you know he has a genuine medical issue. But i agree the Aussies are perfectly entitled to do as they like, i did say there would be consequences to his choices.
He is entitled to his opinion, but others are entitled, hell are mandated through facts and common sense to say it is fooking rubbish.
And the Aussies are entitled to tell him to fook off.
Why is there this modern view that all opinions must be held in the same regard?
if somebody thinks that 5G causes covid then they are an idiot. there is no way of getting around that.
Funny when the abortion referendum was being pushed on everyone it was argued your body your choice. Seems that doesn't apply here. Personally i'm fully vaccinated but i respect the choice of others not to do so, but they must also realize there is consequences. Calling him names is childish, as is stating well i'm a scientist or i worked there so i know attitude.
Was in Bosnia in 1995, so know all about Soviet attitudes.
.He wouldn't have been allowed to fly there in the first place if his visa wasn't right
that is not true. airlines have no way of deciding that you have met the conditions of a visa.
He’s still entitled to his opinion no matter how highly you regard yourself.
5G = Covid people are plain idiots and there is no differing of opinion on this one.
No sane person can believe that a virus can be carried on an electronic wave
As a scientist his opinion is ignorant and insulting.
And that's not an opinion but a provable fact.
what does that have to do with australia?
People are entitled to hold whatever opinions they want, but someone in the public eye should not be pedaling bullshyte that can cause unforeseen medical complications for others.
People are fooking ignorant if they believe a lot of the fooking conspiracies being pedaled these days, mainly via social media.
Actually in a way part of me hopes that all these conspiracy theory, anti science loons get covid and do the human race gene pool a massive favour.
The problem with the modern world is that we have removed almost all of the things that would have naturally weeded out the idiots.
Its almost as if the Australian government are trying to humiliate Djokovic and make an example out of him.He wouldn't have been allowed to fly there in the first place if his visa wasn't right they must've revoked it mid flight once they heard about Djokovic getting the medical exemption and all the backlash. He probably doesn't want risk of a heart attack from the vaccines many athletes having problems . Anyone who is against Djokovic is part of the problem there should be freedom of choice in the first place , not forced to take a vaccine or even the need to have apply for a medical exemption . He's healthy fit being treated like a criminal. It's horrible I hope he holds the line speaks out about this tyranny afterwards. If they can do that to him they do the same if not worse to it's own citizens.

Any connection to this?
You are wrong. Serbia is a dictatorship. I worked for the UN during the breakup of Yugoslavia and you are not too inclined to get a vaccination so you’re opinion is one of gombeenism.
Yeah you're right. His visa was cancelled so it would mean applying for a new visa and then going into quarantine if it was granted. I think he'll be on a plane early next week as the appeal has been adjourned until Monday.
Loads of fans adore him all over the world.
Serbia is not a dictatorship and in Western countries it used to be the case that you gave informed consent for a medical procedure. The French President saying he will 'torment' people and the Victorian government putting the whole region in a state of siege is what is Soviet-like.
