I got 40% off total spend with code cyber21.
Must depend on the order? That code only deducts 5% for me. Thanks anyway OP!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good luck with that.
Apologies, I must have been lucky !
Why ? 😗
Have you ordered anything online before? wish.com is known for cheap knockoffs and items not being described as you bought them, quality is not something they live up to. They are also based outside the EU so you have zero come back if there is a problem with an order they have every right to refuse a refund whereas if you're buying here or in the EU you have consumer protection to some degree, It's your money, but it is a gamble at best that you'll receive what you bought as you bought it (which is what is sold to you in a picture and described)
Wish has improved a lot and I never had an issue with them or products. If you read the reviews there are some gems to be found. Have found identical items selling much less than on Amazon.
All purchases are covered by 30 day refund.
I remember Ebay had the same problem in the past with knockoffs but that was rectified too !
shocker. Oakleys for 10€ id expect top notch quality
Stop bashing please, Wish is one of the worlds most popular e-commerce apps. 13.6 million reviews on Google play with a 4.6 star rating !
You must work for wish. Would you stop. First off the app has the reviews secondly, the above linked FAQ's was only updated, thirdly merchants are not obligated to follow them nor is it enforced, scammers don't care if they rip people off and wish is ripe with them.
What about import and VAT?
Thank god it's included in total !
I learnt the hard way with Aliexpress ;(
No I don't work for Wish.com but I do enjoy a good bargain :)
Obviously you are a little out of date with how the app/company is working nowadays !
Only once I had an issue with an item and was refunded immediately without having to return it.
Happy Shopping :)
That €150 thing is out of date. I've been stung by An Post for stuff that was under €15 from the UK. Has anyone used them in the last month?
It's not out of date !
Have received plenty of deliveries, no additional charges !
Well I have been charged.
An Post now says the price is irrelevant and they're charging processing and VAT fees too.
I got stung by TNT for this a month ago too and it took a lot of effort to get the bill paid because TNT's site doesn't even work!
https://www.anpost.com/Help-Support/Consumer-Brexit-FAQ
Obviously they didn't included it in the total price !
What company did you buy from ?
Wouldn't recommend. Wish is just Aliexpress with middlemen in America taking a cut.
I admit - it wasn't Wish. One was from Amazon UK (but it wasn't by Amazon direct) and the other was from a company in Turkey.
I'm sick of getting stung while these companies and An Post or TNT figure themselves out though.
So the same as Amazon then ? 😆
Some online retailers are registered with the Import One Stop Shop (IOSS) so that VAT can be included in the price you pay for the goods. Before you make a purchase, check whether the advertised price includes tax and duty costs.
Wish.com is registered. Aliexpress isn't !
AliExpress are IOSS registered.
More info on the €150 point from Revenue.ie
Couldn't agree more, absolute shyte products but to add insult to injury, took 2 months for stuff to arrive and in dribs and drabs. Stung once, never , ever , ever again and I might add this was three years ago and before the well known issues with delays in products being shipped from China.
I wouldn't spend a cent on the Wish site tbh. Stuff is cheap for a reason.
My last order from Aliexpress in Aug. Unfortunately No Vat included
So my €9 order turned into a €15 order ( when VAT and Anpost €3.50 admin fee added)
Never had this issue on Wish.com and am receiving their deliveries in under 3 weeks at the moment :)
Read the reviews beforehand and you'll be grand !
Wish only uses airfreight so no worries there.
Don't be so stubborn things can change :)
OK, in fairness its been a few years but my god it was a frustrating experience, I just hope your right 😉
