And €30 for non Pro members for Mafia III isn't bad either. Seem to remember this game getting great reviews at the time.
Savage!
Don't suppose it's the Definitive Edition, or am I pushing my luck? 😁
EDIT: Yes, it is 🙂
It is a great few weeks - only problem is Ive too many games to play now.
Im currently playing pga2k21, division2,jedi fallen order, watchdogs 1 and 2,sniper elite....Not enough hours in the day.
Just got the Premium Edition pack from signing up for another month of Pro. Had no need for it but figured "free stuff" and fell for it.
Just going to donate that to my brother now in "payment" for a nights bed and board, but might yet end up keeping the Pro signed up. Figure there is enough games included that once I stick to the free ones it works out cheaper than actually buying any that I might otherwise be tempted by.
Liking the simplicity of Stadia and just turn it on and go, was too much off a faff to mess about with plugging my ancient xbox in and wait for it to get ready to play a game.
The XBox argument might change for me when xCloud becomes available before the end of the year through the console. No need for downloading big game files and will be able to play Series X quality games on my 7 year old Xbox One.
Yes but from what I've read Xcloud may be coming to Android and Google TV. I have it running here on the Chromecast with Google TV, its not officially supported yet but it works quite well most of the time. Gamepass + Stadia on the Chromecast will definitely stop me from buying a new console.
November Stadia Pro titles have been announced
Saints Row IV (New to Stadia)
Hundred Days - Winemaking Simulator
DIRT 5
Kemono Heroes
Landing on November 1st. Was going to buy Dirt 5 in the sales, glad I didn't bother. Don't know much about Kemono Heroes but will definitely give it a blast. Happy overall to get four games and there is likely to be another around the time of the 2 year anniversary.
Hi all...
I am looking to purchase the Play and Watch with Google TV package for stadia...
Chromecast with Google TV + Stadia Controller..
Were did yous order yours ?
I can only find it on the US site
Thanks in advance...
Found it, just added the 2 separate items and it applied the discount
I find xcloud to be useless in comparison to stadia (at least on pc/android/shield TV), the resolution is crap, and the input latency is much more noticeable. Hopefully it gets better as it's a fantastic thing to have with gamepass.
I haven't tried out xCloud in a few months now but last time I did it worked OK. Not as good as Stadia but still very playable. Lag was fine but picture quality was a bit lower. I'm gonna try it again soon as I mentioned when it comes to last gen consoles.
For Stadia's 2nd birthday Google are offering the premiere edition for $22.22/€22.22/£19.99
Which, if nothing else, is a bargain for a Chromecast Ultra
I picked up two, one for the other TV and maybe one for my brother #HappyChristmas
That is a brilliant price. I just found out recently that some of the games allow two player local. There's only a few (Multiplayer games for Google Stadia with local/couch support – Multi-Player.Games) but for €22 for a second controller, why not.
I know nothing about google stadia apart from I want it.
If I buy that for 22, what else do I need?
Decent internet connection. Try out destiny 2 as it's free, on phone app or laptop, that should give you a good indicator if you'll be able to use stadia.
Anyway to pay for stadia pro using charge to mobile? Can pay for other subscriptions this way (Strava/google one/vpn) but can't see stadia.
I think any new Stadia account can claim a month of Pro for free (4k with 5.1 sound and access to some games) but you don't need it to play games you have bought on the service
Also if you have an Ubisoft+ subscription you can play these games via stadia without paying Google anything.
The Stadia offer is brilliant value considering it includes a chromecast ultra. Thing is, it keps showing OOS for me :( all the other Google stores have stock, FR/GB/DE but fecking Irish store is OOS
Controller is really nice. One of the nicest. The Chromecast ultra is getting phased out for the Chromecast with Google TV. But still decent.
For €22 it's a bargain. Shame it is all sold out.
Yeah it's annoying, I should've pulled the trigger when I had the chance. I wonder if they'll be getting more stock in. The UK store has been selling them constantly going by HUKD.
I ordered one from the UK store. Sending it via address pal. Even with the 6.50 charge and any fees it is still a crazy good offer.
It's back in stock as of 1.27am! I didn't dilly dally this time, ordered straight away.
Out of stock for me now.
Anybody have surround sound working with Stadia?
I have the CCU, LG CX 55 and an LG soundbar. All using earc but PCM sound only comes through on the front speakers. Think I have all the correct settings.
Chromecast with Google TV is 50 quid in Currys and you could get the Stadia premier for 22 quid. So 20 quid cheaper and you'd have a spare Chromecast Ultra.
Thanks for the heads up... I am trying on Google Store for the 22 deal, with no joy... Allways out of stock when I check in....
Trying to do the same - using addressPal from the UK google store but when it comes to payment I am being asked for a UK address.
Is the work around to use Paypal?
I used PayPal. I had some funds on the account and it worked fine.
Yeah thats what I ended up doing and used address pal.
I have no idea if the Stadia set up and games are any good but for 20quid its hard to say no to.
It's brilliant. The controller is class and you can hop from TV to phone to chrome browser and not worry about save files or downloads or updates.
Ordered mine on Friday and arrived this morning. Almost 40 now and haven't been a regular gamer since I had a megadrive as a young teenager but for 20 euro this is a complete no brainer, what a deal. Have been playing around with it on my laptop for the past couple of days in chrome browser and very impressed.
