I for one do not believe he shot them people out of self defence and never meant to kill them. I think he intended to kill them and thought he would get away with it. The Judge as well is a joke. What a very strange trial. Only in America.
You're trying to imply that open carry and travelling with a gun is intent. It isn't.
The reality is that's would be very different from here where simply having the weapon would be intent as would bringing it somewhere like this.
And isn't that just the stupidest **** though.
At 17 I was an idiot and the idea of me or people similar to me at that age being able to legally carry a gun around like that and bring it a riot is just right up there with the dumbest ideas humans have come up with.
The whole case is a perfect little example of why the US is a failed experiment that's going to be unrecognisable within a century, if not sooner.
There are so many factors in this which wouldn't have occurred in any other civilised nation, and as a result this case would never have existed.
The U.S. is past the point of no return IMHO. No amount of smart Presidents or diversity in government will fix this. It's an inexorable death spiral.
All we can do is pull back, avoid letting the rhetoric infect our discourse and reduce our economic reliance on it.
In the heel of the hunt, Rittenhouse probably did act in self defence, in the moment. But the fact that the circumstances which led to the shooting are considered to be perfectly normal in the US, tells us how fucked it is.
Then why are you stating as fact that Rittenhouse murdered people when the court has yet to decide this?
Ah, maybe its a case of 'Do as I say, not as I do" moment from yourself?
Their laws and controls around guns are too weak. Once carrying guns around is normalized, every situation is escalated.
The media has some responsibility for whipping up situations into a riots. Also deliberately spreading disinformation. Some of the reporting in ireland on this story is so misinformed its unbelievable.
The entitled one is crying like a baby in the dock
You and a few others were the exact same ones I was thinking of.
Rittenhouse shouldn't have been walking around with a gun, defends himself - guilty.
Nkencho attacking people and swinging a knife around, gets shot - victim.
It's very pathetic and very transparent.
Emotional about the case get the boat ,
Dr Phil ...
Crying all the way to the bank.
Hyperbole much in fairness?
Your posts are emotional filled rants with no substance. The actual evidence completely contradicts your narrative about what happened.
Either you know all this and are just trolling, or you genuinely are blinded by emotion and cannot see the wood for the trees. All the evidence points to a lawful self-defence.
The child abuser and the others equal creep are dead, they can't cry anymore, nor can they hurt others anymore.
That they deserve to be dead is just a happy coincidence.
That their actions on the night left no choice is what is seen repeatedly in court. That's all that matters.
He is a young man who killed, of course he is going to be traumatized. He sacrificed a lot for others. That's real working class solidarity.
People open carrying rifles in the middle of race riots and several people being shot and killed. Sounds like a scene from a mad max film.
So no, in this context, calling America a failed state is not hyperbole.
He should be suing all media that libeled him the last few years on their witch hunt. He clearly acted in self defense in all cases. They even had a witch hunt for those that contributed to his defense case.
Should he or those that tried to kill him have been carrying guns, no. Should the riot of been tolerated in the first place no. Were media exploiting and exacerbating the situation, yes.
Whats more disturbing for someone that lives here in this country is there is people posting here that have become so brainwashed and unbalanced that they would have hung this child from the nearest lampost just because he may have supported Trump and is proud of his community. You see Democrat good and Republican bad in every situation and no longer see the difference between right and wrong. Please look at yourselves and what you have become, alot of the same posters with different versions of the same nonsense for years. I used to laugh about Trump derangement syndrome, but it does appear to be a thing with some. It can't be good for you, leave social media and message boards alone for a while. Maybe you are already obsessive paranoid types but you appear to be stuck down the rabbit hole and only hurting yourselves. Life is way too short, have a walk in the forest or play with your kids a bit more.
He sacrificed nothing
You...... were the exact same ones I was thinking of.
Awww that's so sweet you were thinking about me.
XOXO hun
😘
Not really as 1. The guys on the docks aren't endangering anyones life except their own and 2. Carrying a rifle around the docks is illegal and the guy would be arrested immediately.
Hopefully it's just an online persona thing. I haven't come across many of that sort in real life. Thankfully.
In that context, if something unusual happens, every nation is a failed state.
😄😄😄🤣🤣🤣
Keep smoking that stuff dude ....😴😴😴😴
Nah it's more of a 3 strikes and you're out kind of deal. You'd have to give me examples of other non failed states were such scenes have played out?
Sadly, I don't think it is entirely hyperbole.
I'm just wondering at what point both sides simply dispense with whatever pretense of civility is left, paint their respective colors on their faces like William Wallace in braveheart, and charge at each other shouting "freedom!" (a word that has essentially lost all meaning compared with how most other civilized nations would define it)
I would consider the USofA to be one of the LEAST free nations in the western world. When you are forced to accept toddlers in kindergarten, getting wiped out by madmen. And you can do nothing about it, because "em well our dead forefathers said so". You're not free, you're a prisoner living under tyranny. Not government tyranny, but a type of psychological tyranny of the mind. The lunatics are running the asylum, and the voices of reason have been pushed to the fringes.
You have a two party dictatorship who cannot be removed from power, so any hope of voting for something different is almost non existent. It's very hard to see a positive way forward, for a nation that was once the envy of the world.
Mod - Moved to CA
Well, last summer there was open warfare on the streets of France.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igEAPV_tQ6Q
Imagine two parties being in power since the foundation of your state. Where would you get it?
Yeah at times France isn't far off in terms of madness. I still don't think two feuding criminal organisations is similar to countrywide race riots, legally carrying assault rifles and subsequent shootings/killings.
We have our own travelling community that can cause mayhem amd hold an area/road to ransom but its rare and localised to specific demographics. Its not endemically woven into the fabric of society/law the way it is in America.
I am not sure about that ,,,,,I
Crying all the way home with a lot of money.
I dunno but not Ireland, which has had coalitions for years now. The US post civil sar, and post WWI the U.K. are candidates.
People seem to be of the view that he was there as opposition to the blm protests. It has been stated he was there to protect businesses from looting and being burned down as well as providing EMT to people injured, not to stop protests. Its also reported he was there earlier in the day doing clean up and graffiti removal. Sounds like a kid that is civic minded and genuinely cared about his community to me. Still I'm sure a lot of the commentators online just saw his skin colour and decided his motivations from that.
