Considering a diesel one of these folks. Drove it last weekend and found it very comfortable and a generally nice if not the most exciting drive. I have heard the horror stories of the previous model. Are these any better?
The newer models I think are 2016 up are definitely better than the older models. I think the badge puts people off but I think with the right spec they are a lovely car and great value for money, they do a lot of mileage and do it well.
They've sold in such small numbers in Ireland in recent years you'll struggle to get owner reviews. Try a few uk sites, honest john and the likes, of course it will be badged Vauxhall. Only thing I'd say is make sure you get a great price because it'll be hard to shift on no matter how decent a car it is. That goes for most non premium saloons that were previously popular, mondeo etc...
That shouldn't be a problem. I have held my last car 13 years and my work jeep for 11. I tend to buy fresh second hand and drive them for years.
Sure they'll all lose value if you hold on that long. Yeah have a look at uk sites and see how you get on.
It's as good a way of getting value as I can find bar bangernomics.
