RTE's new 8 episode gangland drama with an all star cast.
AMC start date is September 9th I can't see a start date for RTE just a coming soon.
Anna had the same expression when Micheal asked her did she want a juice as the expression she had when she was telling him she was attacked !
I've been "Bored" since the start, hoping, longing, anticipating, wishing this Tripe might get better , I'm sure like many, I've got to a stage we're I'm only barely engaged, actually nodded off on more than one occasion. This is not, nor has been Drama, its been farce.
But yes, I'd be on "Board" for a potential Bren V Eamonn type sequel, it might actually offer suspense or heaven forbid an actual believable story line. This really has be Fair City style rubbish on steroids.
You're on board so.
Couldn't agree more and his 5 minutes really highlighted what we all thought but my god, isn't it extraordinary that an entire cast over hours of Drama could be over shadowed by a 5 minute appearance of a single character.
The entire Kin family a complete Joke, the attempt at Diversity just utterly pathetic (especially the newest solicitor, WTF was that) Frank's & Amanda's characters just woeful.
What really baffles me, is various critics falling over themselves to give good reviews and that after 2 episodes the writers and directors didn't think to stop and wonder if they had a Turd on their hands.
But I do think, Brendan going up against Eamonn in a possible series two has potential, but did we really have to endure hours of Shyte to get here 🙄
Agree. The actor who plays Uncle Bren puts the rest of the cast to shame. The was more acting in the few minutes screen time he got than in the series to date. The show for me has highlighted how bad an actor Aidan Gilllen actually is.
That was class, uncle Bren basically said on screen what we the viewers are thinking...
"you're all as a crime family an absolute bunch of fcuk ups"
Writers should get him out of jail, that'd be worth watching as he tore them to shreds every Sunday night.
Thanks, I came in here to ask who played the brother in prison. There's no-one listed on IMDB for this role, so good to know it was Francis Magee.
I mentioned this in the thread after a couple of episodes. You can clearly see AMC's influence in this as the yanks would be all about box ticking. Judging by this, you'd be thinking 30 or 40% of people in Ireland are black.
I'd wait 10 years for Nikita's hole too Eric!!!!
He was onto that homosexualist’s deviancy in a flash !
Bren was awesome, the actor looked familiar who is he?
😂 Only recently noticed this myself ......but every second shot seems to have a random black face wandering by , that's not including those who are Gardai, solicitors ......and possibly even Taoiseach for all we've yet to know
It was sunny when they blackened South's Pub for the movie.
Aviva still looks well though
The writer definitely underestimated how stupid he made the characters. It makes you wonder how the Kinsellas even got into the position they were in before this "war."
Sweet. I'll watch it now.
It's already there.
7 episodes gone and not one sunny day in Dublin! Kin is doing for Dublin what angelas ashes did for Limerick where it pissed rain throughout the movie.
Cheers. Forgot about it. When will current episode be on rte player?
The older brother will be out of jail for the second season, he was brilliant
Is Jimmy going to piss on the fire ?
The finale not looking to gripping either
The Kinsellas do realise that they are criminals/that they are in the “underworld”? They seem to always look surprised at what is happening to them?
You know its bad when the continuity announcer knows how long the credits are 1 minute and 16 seconds 🙄
Probably the best 5 minutes in the entire series 👌
Just thinking the same....
This brother looks like he wants to leave Frank in ribbons...a hairdresser lol
Wouldnt you think they're making enough money to fix that glass...
My guess for last episode
The other son (Amanda) will shoot Eamonn
Absolute farce and the Solicitor about as believable as Ian Paisley being Catholic. I didn't want to believe it could get any slower, I've been kidding myself
The diversity box ticking is a bit of a joke at this stage
Just waiting for the judge who sends " viking " down to be black
Dumb question perhaps; and a reason I'm pretty much avoiding this thread til after each episode airs on RTE cos I don't want "Spoilers" by reading comments, but when on ATC does Kin air?
Like is it the Wednesday night before the Sunday over here?
Thanks.
Also for those like me here's the not so ruthless hitman (I think) speaking to RTE ahead of the penultimate episode on RTE later https://www.rte.ie/entertainment/2021/1023/1255512-kin-star-says-biggest-shocks-are-yet-to-come/
