Great news Mad_Lad👍️
(I even kept my 2000th post for you😁)
In other news.......
Scale silver is an absolute nightmare when the council decide to go tar and chipping your local Noreen, I've just spent 2 hrs and a whole can of wd40 cleaning it.
Enjoy Mad Lad,tbf it was pretty fkin torturous for you.
Final installment in my own saga was having to ring them to get them to take the monthlys .......3 months later after ringing them each month.
DD mandate was cancelled with the original wrong car they got me...,..
They knocked down the monthly payments so all cool. Here now waiting to get the car driven out.
Pay as you with esb best option. Sign up and put an amount of money into your acc. Say 20 or 30 euro. When it drops to somethin like 10 euro it will automatically top it back up again.
Anyone any idea how long the latest update takes?
When it's downloading it removes all the front assist extras and the dash is lit up like a Christmas tree with error lights.
I'm really not following you, the outstanding finance on the i3 is €11,700 and the dealership is offering €14k?
Or are they trying to cut it down to €11k based on the car being older than the original quote?
Taking my first long trip in the car next week, going from Dublin to Galway for a meeting and back again. I planned to use the Ionity charger in Athlone both ways, anyone familiar with it? Is it usually working? I've registered for the We Charge card, so hoping I can just use that first time without hassle, but if something does come up, hoping they can troubleshoot on the phone easily! Getting anxious! 😅
Maybe your monthly payments are gone down?
PAYG is best unless you're going to be using ESB charging a lot
I'd recommend getting a card as it tends to be more reliable and you don't want to be stuck with no charging if your phone dies
No Idea but the only thing I can worry about now is that he's still giving me the 14K but there is 11,700 odd left on the car but I paid the difference since the original deal. So shouldn't I be getting the difference off the car or deposit ?
Hi. I collected my ID3 today. I know this is a ridiculous question at this stage but I'm a total newbie! Which method of payment is best when I sign on for Ecars? Do I need to get a card from them or can you do it with a phone app? I hope to do most of my charging from home in the long run and I don't think I will need to use public chargers too often. All help welcomed! Thanks.
how much has the value of used cars increased since he give you the figure..
Final settlement on BMW is 11,718.64 dealer offered 14K originally, so now he still wants 4 K deposit, so looks like he think's I'm going to take the hit on driving the car the extra 3 months past delivery, he's pissed there's 20,000 more kms on it since he gave me the price.
So due to collect today if I can make it home in time and get the paperwork he could have told me to have ready...... unlikely collecting today or ever at this rate.
I usually preheat while being plugged in. Although I'm not sure I'm saving the range much:)
Worked for me this morning with 39% battery and not connect to charge point. Software version is 2.3.
I read about this but haven't experienced it on Zappi v3.103 through to 3.142. My car is running software version 2.3 since new so maybe that helps.
Is there any way of preheating the car without charging the battery to 50% if your SOC is below 50%?
v3.142 is the latest, I'm on 3.123 and haven't had any problems with it.
There's a whole thread on MyEnergi forums about problems some people are having with VW ID cars
This what my app looks like - you should see a clock symbol next to Scheduled to indicate that it is set. With these settings, when I plug in before the scheduled time, the Zappi light turns purple. Charge light on ID.3 lights green at 11pm.
I added the second schedule (7-10am) in case I need to reconnect for heating the car- not sure if that's required.
Zappi charging schedules can be quite complicated, did you go in to the menu and set the timer and days of the week on the zappi itself + hrs to charge ?
then you set it to eco plus and have the slider thing to 100% forget exactly.
The pulsar plus is dead easy to use.
Thats a bit of a balls I must say - I would have plenty of occasions sitting the the Leaf when waiting for people or the like, and let the car "on" while listening the to the radio etc to make sure the 12V isn't getting drained.
Ours is v3.103. Might see about updating it.
I suspect load sharing might be at play here. We have a heat pump and induction hob.
There was an issue a while back where the car would go into some sort of deep sleep mode if it charged for less than 30 mins and wouldn't wake up. I increased the manual boost amount to 10kWh to get around this, although the issues should be fixed now
I also updated to the latest Zappi software, I'm now on V3.139
It was to fix some issues with load sharing, but since then I haven't had any failed charges so it might have helped there as well
its only happened twice but get into the car and it doesnt recognise the key, after flustering around for a minute got out closed the door and got back in again and it was fine, anything you can do in the car?
it didn’t charge at all. Sounds like we are having similar issues.
Yes it seems to be communicating fine. So it should work.
I don't have the tour, but my 1st has a compressor and tin of gunk. Don't think my Goodyear tyres are self sealing or run flat.
Nope it was set to 90%. I had charged to 80 but preheating brought it down 2%
