Can only hope aj gets to fight fury. Would be brilliant to se Eddie after a humiliating loss trying to big up aj. Fury would embarrass him 100%, not a doubt in my mind. Ajs chin would not stand up like wilders did and aj doesnt have the ko power to cleanly ko fury which is needed to beat him. AJ is a fraud, always was, people believing the sky hype.
I wouldn't totally write him off against Usyk, but he needs a major overhaul, way too many delusional yes men in his corner too...I don't see it happening personally but you never no.
Id also be concerned if he can stand up to the bigger guys power, Usyk hurt him and nearly had him out of there a few times and he doesn't carry much power...
I honestly think it speaks far more to the quality of opponent and their own chin's and stamina than it does any ultra devastating right hand. Yes he has excellent power, but nothing else. It speaks to opponents lack of ring craft, careful opponent selection and a lack of real quality faced more than it does anything exceptional.
He really needs the Usyk win to give the public and fans the feel that he and Fury can be a competitive fight, and also, he needs to kind of impress in the win
This may sound harsh: But I find it difficult to accept that Usyk is, or could be the best HW on earth.
If he fights Fury, I want the big man to win, and win clean and well....to kind of say "now, don't come up here messing with us big boys."
This is why Usyk wouldn't stand a chance against Fury
AJ might be done but I'd like to see him switch trainer, preferably to Abel Sanchez. Sanchez will improve him anyways.
I think he needs to be bigger, the slimmed down version might have worked in Ruiz 2 but he's definitely better as a bigger guy.
Fantastic nights boxing.
I hope Wilder doesn't retire. Would love to see him vs Joshua.

Mm
I hope he doesn’t and I don’t think he will. Lots of big fights out there for him he’s still a big draw. Getting a title fight again now is a stretch though unless there’s a fragmentation somehow. If Fury were to obliterate aj and Usyk then the fact that wilder went 30 rounds with him would measure up quite well. He also came so close in both the first and third fights even if he was well beaten in the end.
on aj I’m not sure adding weight is the issue it’s that he has no confidence in his chin and he’s nervous which leads to him losing stamina, bit like price. He’s very lucky to have got to hold the belts after winning them cheap enough. Sanchez would be a big addition to his corner
This is rubbish again.. You can only beat what is in front on you, talking about fighters from different generations beating each other is pointless, everything about the game of boxing is different today than it was 10 years ago, never mind 40 years ago, you seem to love Lewis, but a prime Foreman with the training a Lewis of the 90's has gets battered inside 3 rounds. As Tyson said in his presser after the fight, do not compare fighters from differnet era's just enjoy what they All brought to the sport........
Relax. It’s just a debate… folks been discussing era v era for years and years…
How come there were no British fans? I'm sure, if I'm correct, there were many for the Canelo v Saunders fight?
Hard to look at any fighters from the past and see then going toe to toe with Fury over 12 rounds and coming out on top. He's that good.
Just current COVID restrictions. No direct flights from Britain.
If Johsua wants to fight Fury then he first has to avenge his defeat to Usyatk, it is not up to Fury to beat him before he fights Joshua, for me Fury beats both of them easily, he is by miles the best Heavyweight of his generation by a long shot..
Thanks.
Ruiz ever get a crack of the whip again?
I don't see Wilder retiring but it's anyone's guess what his management team do from here. They did him absolutely no favour making this third fight with Fury and their next moves will probably be just as stupid.
The best thing for Wilder would be to disavow everything he said after the second Fury fight as mind games and acknowledge Fury has his number.
Then he needs to go knock out a tier 2 guy like Andy Ruiz or Whyte and show he still belongs with the elite. Then go make another mega fight with AJ or Usyk.
I don't think that's what will happen but I do think that's what he should do.
You don't think money talks?
Isn’t he fighting Whyte/wallin as mandatory ?
If Whyte gets past Wallin we can expect Whyte/Fury late spring.
be some crack if Whyte got the job done!
That’s the way it’s looking alright
Wilders body shots in the opening rounds hurt fury, I was suprised he didn't keep at it after the fourth round. Credit to both fighters, fury for coming back and wilder just wouldn't give in.
Brilliant night of boxing.
What makes you think Fury will fight again so soon?
And new Lineal HW champion of the world!!😝😝
I reckon he probably would like to.Late spring is 6 months away
then again, he could take it eazy for months..
Or years even 😯
I watched the broadcast video but this ringside amateur video angle really shows more effectively how Fury was brutally teeing off on Wilder at the end
Fury actually knocks a slumped Wilder back upright at 9 seconds with an uppercut so that he can cue off on him to put him down at 11 seconds for the finish 😱
Whyte would pose more danger than aj imo, he will go out all guns blazing regardless. Like whyte, no bull **** about him. Id be happy see fury beat usyk for all the belts then retire, whats the point in boxing on, his legacy will be well and truly cemented.
