Has anyone else noticed how M&S haven't done a single furniture sale since Brexit? They used to regularly have 20% off
that 20% "reduction" only brought it back in line with, or slightly cheaper than their regular UK prices
eg - Cora 2 door sideboard is £199 on uk website, and €268 on .ie website. - 20% sale would bring it back to €214 or so, not much cheaper than the regular €238/£199 price on the uk website
Oh yea, not arguing with that at all, but the point is they don't offer it anymore and I don't think the standard pricing has gone done in any way since then.
I believe the problem is that they simply don't have enough stock to do any proper sales. Loads of stuff has been delayed due to Covid, then the shipping Issue etc.
Local gardening wholesaler has only this week received this summers Garden Furniture order that they were due to receive in February/March.
Are chance the garden furniture being sold off cheap now, out of season???
Shipping from far east has gone through the roof.
Hence instead of increasing prices, many places have cut out most of the deals they do.
The hope is shipping will come back to normal levels in 2022.
