Hi, does anyone know when this panel ends? I'm hoping the 2021 panel will be soon...
I received this myself on the same date as yourself, have you heard any more on an interview?
The competition has been extended. No end date set yet and they expect it to continue for the foreseeable future
Any word on how far The Galway Panel is progressing?
Thanks in advance.
Hi... anybody know what batch and oom they are on for Louth after interviews... or what email address to use to find out.. thanks 👍
Last time I checked they had placed upto Batch 8 place 15.
Can someone tell me how many are in each batch. Thanks
Hey, does anybody know what batch and oom they on for Dublin after interviews?
Unfortunately that would be extremely difficult due to a young family .
Its undoubtedly a massive decision to make as far as I know its shift work I think 3 shifts.
thanks Aaron
How many days does 'additional security clearance' take I filled in 1 garda vetting and 1 word document form for clearance ? I have submitted all docs. No reply from PAS since 2 weeks. Many thanks.
Hi all. Is there anyone working in Dept Agri Food and Marine? I have been offered a position here. Would appreciate any information on what to expect in regards to a typical day in this section. And what are the work hours , is there flexi time ? Thanks in advance 👍
My husband had no LC and is working in Revenue so no..you do not need it :-)
Hi Killio,
Apologies for the delayed reply.
I know a few people working in Government departments who didn't complete their leaving cert for one reason or another. However, if you're looking to upskill I would suggest checking out the courses listed on your local further education training centre website. They offer great courses at very affordable prices. If you're not working currently you may be entitled to have your course fee waived. Having recent courses/education on your CV also shows a willingness to learn and an interest in self-development.
Hi,
Would anyone know whether previous TCO contracts count towards increments in salary once I start as a permanent Clerical Officer? I have only ever worked as a temporary clerical officer, I am currently working as a TCO and have been offered permanent CO to start soon, on my current TCO payslip it says I am 'point 2'.
If I was to take three weeks off at the end of my TCO contract before I start as permanent CO will that affect my increments?
Any help would be really appreciated! :-)
It will count, get on to People Point when you start and they will advice you. Taken 3 weeks off will not affect your increments.
The shifts are 5am to 1pm, 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm and night shift is 11pm to 7am.
I can't download the application form from the link they sent me yesterday regarding an interview in Dublin. I've tried on a mac and a pc but nothing happens when I click the link?
Try phone or iPad.
Right click and copy the link, then paste into a new tab. That should work.
Thanks this worked!
Thanks for your suggestion but I couldn't right click it on my mac. It worked using my android phone and I could eventually download it when I used Firefox instead of Chrome! The palaver lol .. thank you for your help.
Hi ccp26
I have been told it will be remote working in the beginning, just got a call today. I am not sure what the hours are yet or for how long remote working will be.
CO campaign is normally 2 years. So this will expire in 2022..
Hi
Have you heard anything yet re been assigned?
This was supposed to be a 1 year panel for some reason, but it's been extended.
"The competition is due to close in May 2021. However no exact date has been finalised and it will continue on for the foreseeable future."
I got word last week I was under consideration for a position. They wouldn't tell me which dept and I'm just waiting on Garda Vetting and a reference check from my current employer. Hopefully it won't take too long. How did you get on? Are you waiting for Offaly too?
That's so strange! In previous years it was never a 1-year competition as far as I know..
That's great news. Well done! I was placed in top 10 in Batch 8. Not sure how many are in each batch for Offaly. Good luck with been placed.
Yes, they count towards your increment scale. And taking time off before starting as a CO will not affect this.
