Beacon Fertility and that strange American accent. Absolutely appalling advert, and so insincere sounding.
Jesus, I utter hate those. What kind of ar$ehole uses that expression in real life?
Those 'bossing it' ads.
Martin Gear here. On several times an hour. Shurrup Martin!
Now that it's been mentioned here, I can't unhear PJ's batchroom each and every time it comes on. Also, who would love to dream in a bathroom (or batchroom)? What that's even about I don't know.
Annual leave lady is annoying, but nothing can beat Stephen the Teapot. Seriously, are they deliberately trying to make the ads worse or what?
Quote.ie insurance advertisement on radio in castralto voice gives me a severe pain!!
The weird pronunciations voiceovers use, eg MOAR for 'more'. It's like our version of a Valley Girl accent.
Another Allianz ad with the all knowing wife who previously schooled her thick husband about getting a chip on the windscreen is now back to school him about the knocking sound in the engine. And he being a thick husband dismisses it as normal
The ad for James Bond week on newstalk. Criiiiiiiinge
Keep Discovering "ARE"land
Those "Square" ads with the woman VO sounding like she's very smart and we're all stupid
It is awful, delivered in a manner you might use to get a point across to pre-schoolers.
There's this lispy female voiceover lately, on Des Kelly carpets ad now. Very annoying.
that local drama ad where the guy whispers is incredibly annoying
Did you know that the bikini is also 75 years old. I actually go red with the cringe listening to this one.
Also - we were on our way to Mayo when we realised, we'd never been in Mayo....
The Eason book club ads on newstalk. They always seem to choose a particularly morbid sounding book but the background music used when Pat Kenny plugs the book is annoyingly cheerful and friendly, in contrast to the grim and depressing theme of the books
the "Keep Discovering Ireland" / annual leave days left ad's are total cringe
Batchroom and Valsewagon.
Do they not listen back to the ads?
This is your daily reminder that half of the population have below-average intelligence.
I'm already dreading 2035, when SuperValu discover memes with Impact font.
The gourmet food ad with the guy who asks Sinead if she's ok and she replies with an annoying Cork " noooooOOOO" twang
has anyone heard the add on KCLR for a shopping center (posible market cross)
it has 2 girls talking about buying leggings but with full on americanism expressions and american scumbag accents. total head wrecking people
how anyone could think this will bring people into the shopping center . it would only do the oposite . why would you go there if this is the type of people going there
That advert for Standard Life, where he explains the origins of the word 'retire'. The drumming in the background makes me incredibly anxious and uneasy. I've a heart condition and the sound of that idiotic out of beat/no rythem drumming makes me feel as if I'm going out of rythem!!
I hear Davey are back advertising again!
That annoying little 5hit on the An Post advert, Jane I think I just got her savings account 'okayyy let's GO!', like an adult trying to express a young tiktoker generation. Speaking of which that SuperValu advert where the guy is tryin to be relevant with phrases like 'epic' and 'winning', Jesus....
"Tourism is the heart of Ireland."
Thanks for the reminder to book a holiday somewhere where pints are less than €3.
Teenage girls never do stupid things online..
Oh wait..
Good old McDonalds encouraging teenage girls to shoot nude bath videos for Tiktok, or where ever. That can't possibly be a bad thing, right? Seriously, the plebs that came up with that one should be fired.
He must have survived the last attack of the bats.....
PH Ross with his "batchroom" is back.
The Aldi ad for back to school. I reckon for most people that music means Glenroe........
"Start your impossible" suggests that Toyotas are next to impossible to start. :D
"Chimpionchips"
