Are they? For the most part I see people people laughing at an idiot who has chosen to take horse dewormer. He's also getting monoclonal antibodies which are proven to be effective in the early stages of covid plus steroids. So it's more likely that the latter is doing something while horse medication is doing nothing. Ivermectin is unproven so he's more likely to end up with unintended side effects than anything else.
At his age he'd have a 99%+ chance of not dying, probably higher since he isn't a fat ****. Not sure why one would assume it was the drugs he took.

He's on a cocktail of drugs that are proven to work and one that's entirely unproven. It's unclear if he went for the horse variant, either way it's a tad stupid. On top of that, the cocktail of drugs is not always guaranteed to work. Meanwhile we have proven vaccines that doesn't require a cocktail of drugs and drastically reduces severe cases of COVID-19 etc. So ya, catching it and seeing what happens when there's a vaccine is dense.
Fyi, I've had the vaccine and have been on the steroid he's on. I got a headache after the vaccine and that was it. The steroid had pretty dreadful side effects including increased risk of infection etc. It also tends to eat away at the calcium in your bones so can cause conditions such as osteopenia. This is reversible but if it's not caught, you can develop osteoporosis. So the vaccine is far more preferable to be on steroids for a few months. (You have to wean off of them)
I can't see what the big deal is, in fairness I just clicked on Twitter to measure the bigness of the deal.
Rich guy with informed opinion uses his money and his gut feeling to treat his Covid. He says he "threw the kitchen sink at it" (the phrase is everything BUT the kitchen sink) so it looks like he's gone "Hit me with everything". He's certainly done the homework over the last 18 months and feels comfortable in the decision to take the things that he feels are safe for him to take and that will hopefully be beneficial to his recovery.
He hasn't offered himself up as a trial patient in the uses of certain drugs. He has as he said thrown the kitchen sink at it.
I'm double vaxed 3 months now and have had rotten side since as have roughly 50% of people I know in my age group and sex. (50'sM).
In the last 2 months I know far more people who have caught Covid than in the previous 16 months. All of them double vaxed and with far worse symptoms than people who caught it without the vax (with the exception of one death).
JR has now caught Covid, looks to have dealt with it the way he could and wanted to and he looks to be recovering quickly. And now with the bonus of having the strongest measure against Covid- natural immunisation.

Really - pretty much everyone I know has had double vacc, and I dont know a single person whose side effects have gone beyond a day or two, and very few have cited anything more than a sore arm. FFS.....

Younger, older and women less so. But out of 12 friends and family 6 are much the same as me. Overly tired being the biggest complaint.

The fact a Cochrane report has concluded there's very low amounts of evidence ivermectin is effective against COVID-19 is a pretty good reason to be not using it. Why do you think there's some great cover-up by the medical and research community?

But then goes on to stir the waters further announcing that amongst all the other drugs he has also taken the unproven Ivermectin

He is taking Prednisone which is a steroid often prescribed to people who have COPD/Asthma. It's likely to be helping him a lot more than Ivermectin.
There's a big difference between an informed opinion that is scientifically informed and one that is informed by morons and dum dums on parler and reddit.
whether Ivermectin is effective against Covid or not we are not going to hear it from the media. The mainstream approach is vaccination, anything else is considered bad science.
There are indipendent doctors and biologists testing the Ivermectin, i'd rather hear from them then from the media

The rest are people basing their opinion on real evidence around them, friends and family who got vaccinated and how they handled it, and whether they got sick anyway or not.

I would like to read the results from clinical trials on Ivermectin rather than from individual doctors who might be trying to make a name for themselves so its not just the mainstream media that may be dishonest. In fairness to Rogan, even vaccinated people can get COVID and he looks like is in battling it very well.

I will never cease to be astonished by the number of people who think it is perfectly plausible that Covid is a harmless hoax drummed up by big Pharma to generate business despite the fact that it would take researchers, scientists, Doctors, the WHO, and every dept of health and pretty much every hospital in the world to go along with it.

I dont know anyone who thinks that Covid is harmless, that includes Joe Rogan who had a long podcast with Bret Weinstain about the unknown consequences of Covid in the long term, regardless of how mild the initial symptom might be. Scary stuff
