Howdy,
Found one of these at home, looking online suggests it's an early model (pre-launch), but hard to see if that's actually the case. There is certainly no FCC or eu certification stickers on it.
Anyone know much about this?
From an Atari forum https://atariage.com/forums/topic/45091-lynx-what-are-the-differences-between-these-model-nos/:
"PAG-0200 - European Lynx I
PAG-0201 - Standard Lynx I
PAG-0300 - Mono Lynx II
PAG-0400 - European Lynx II
PAG-0401 - N.American Lynx II
PAG-3201 - another N.American Lynx II
and on the weekend I've read about another Lynx - Model-No. PA-4401 It's a Lynx II console."
Well that simplified that. Thanks! Are they worth anything to anyone these days
Depends If it's in good condition or not. I paid about €100 for one with about a dozen boxed games.
It's often enough for the screen to degrade after a while but I heat that they're not too difficult to replace.
I'll stick in some batteries see if it turns on and works. Don't know about games. I remember playing it when it came out though. Was some machine!
It also used up the batteries pretty quick.
6 AA batteries would give you four hours If I recall. There was also an option of an ac adapter but that negates the concept of it bieng a handheld.
