Well they worked for a while for sure. And I am not too worried about a revolution overturning the entire political class. The revolutionaries would have to leave their parent’s basements first (which makes you wonder why they are so opposed to being locked down?).

With only 15K tests a day you can bet your house on the real number being a hell of a lot more cases than 2000 kicking around. Even if it is only twice as much, the question is how many have they been passing it on to.
Yes thats what I am worried about, I always get 2 colds a year , one around Oct/Nov, the other around Feb/Mar ... I haven't had one since Feb 2020.
Because of all the social distancing , washing hands etc ... maybe you think it's good but I'm not so sure, think my immune system is not getting the "exercise" it needs, next cold/flu I'll get will probably nearly kill me - but it's OK since it won't be covid ...

Right . I had to get a negative test before boarding a plane to Ireland, yet I was sitting next to a vaccinated couple who didn’t have to be tested . Eh why not?! So the unvaccinated are proving they don’t have covid on arrival and the vaccinated can run rampant. But it’s all the unvaccinated’s fault.

Friend was told by a student the other day that a college lecturer told them that they would be in for around 6 weeks and then probably online learning until Spring. So the lecturer is predicting mid October lockdown

Back before the mass vaccinations the importing of variants was through unnecessary travel by air making the lockdowns less effective. At least the MHQ reduced this considerably.

Lockdowns won't work again, there is no sell with vaccines anymore as they've gotten to pretty much the best point with them.
