Do we not already have sequential engagement?
Bledisloe Cup not catching anyone's attention?
21-15 NZ lead... Aussies got a much needed try on the stroke of halftime
The difference a good scrum half makes...
Two bad intercept tries to give away. Not that there’s ever a good one.
Turning into a bit of a rout now
1hr 42mins to complete that game.
Why are our games going beyond 2hours?
'Our games'?
Longer halftime breaks
Dear God I've just read about the changes ré the scrum. Union is the game I played and watch NOT league.
We are heading down a slippery slope.
What changes?
Changes above.
Those are covid measures.
They are an interim law variations between tag and full contact in order for grassroots to return to competitive rugby.

Watching a top14 7s tournament here in nearly 40 degree heat. Some fitness on these lads
Ahh thanks for that. Makes sense now.
Australia well-beaten in the end. Sloppy start and another intercept also. Smith on form. 9 for Australia one of their few bright sparks. Retallick showing the likes of Ryan and Henderson what a true world class lock can do. AB's cynical offsides when Oz near line - par for the course. Still hope they mangle the Boks when they meet
That makes sense. I'm not sure my mate who passed that on was aware of that. Better let him know! Thanks Syd.
No, there's still a hit. I'm talking about Front Rows binding in, getting stable and stationary. Then having the 2nd rows and Backrow pack in turn.
All Domestic rugby in New Zealand cancelled till further notice
Lucinda doesn't fck about does she?!
One case..bang...have to respect her attitude, wouldn't mind her coming here for a bit!
Well they are still miles and miles behind us in terms of vaccinations. Less than 20% when I checked yesterday. So there is def a lot of fcking about there. And for as long as they are so slow at vaccinating people then full national lockdowns at the first sign of trouble will continue. Which I'm sure won't be appreciated when the likes of ourselves appear to have that stuff behind us.
And of course she wouldn't have the same options available here as she has there either given, you know, geography.
At least the RC hasn't been affected. I can only imagine the uproar, not just at home, if 1 case in NZ caused disruption there.
There are a lot of kiwis that would be more than happy to pay for a 1 way ticket for Jacinderella to come to Ireland.
why the low rate of vaccinations there YR?
poor logistical arrangements, or high vaccine hesitancy?
Bit of both from what I'm hearing. They were very well prepared at the start of the pandemic because a group of businessmen saw what was happening in Europe at the start of last year and bought several plane loads of PPE, ventilators etc. and donated them to the NZ government. They haven't done this with the vaccine and think the government has been dragging their feet on ordering enough.
There does appear to be some hesitancy on getting the vaccine as covid is something happening overseas and not in NZ. Unless people have family and friends in Europe, Asia, RSA or the States that they are in in regular contact with, it's an other world problem. The recent lockdown in Australia and now this one in NZ will hopefully wake a few of them up and make them realise they can't live in their bubble forever.
Also NZ does have a significant amount of tree hugger, all-natural, eat clean, hippie types who would see vaccines as poison. The NZ Green party make the Irish Greens look like the Tories.
The NZ Green Party are rabid communists with no clue about anything who also have a passing interest in nature.
Amazon have picked up U.K. and Ireland rights to all of the Autumn Internationals with the exception of Ireland’s which will be on RTE (in ROI only) and, for this year only, Channel 4.
Ireland’s games will move in the U.K. to Amazon in 2022 but stay on RTE in ROI.
NZ decided not to tell the Aussies that they weren't travelling!
This from David Rennie (courtesy of BBC)
""I thought 'New Zealand Rugby didn't even have the respect to consult Rugby Australia about their decision', so that's hugely disappointing. I feel like there's only one of us doing what's in the best interest of the game. Last year, we went to New Zealand to ensure the games were played for the benefit of both countries. We quarantined in Wellington for two weeks. The expectation was we made a commitment to go there this year, they'd come here and they haven't honoured. It tells you more about them than us I reckon.""
But won’t be available on Amazon Prime here?
So is that the RC dead now, or what's happening? Was really looking forward to Boks v NZ...
If Dave Rennie wants to be an Aussie now than the IQ of both countries goes up (to quote a former politician)
Ireland’s games (presuming there are any; the game against NZ at least has to in doubt now) won’t be available on Amazon Prime here or in the U.K. in 2021, or here in 2022.
In 2021, Ireland’s games will be on RTE (ROI only) and Channel 4 (U.K. and ROI).
In 2022, Ireland’s games will be on RTE (ROI only) and Amazon (U.K. only).
All other AIs hosted by a Six Nations team (which are henceforth to be known as the “Autumn Nations Series”) will be on Amazon both in the U.K. and ROI. This is the much mooted centralisation of the TV rights and with it the branding, but it’s a hard sell right now for obvious reasons.
One other thing - the away game vs the United States in Las Vegas on 30th October isn’t part of this deal and could end up anywhere.
