I read that as "US army gun" and was wondering wtf this post was doing in this thread
A UPS document seemed to be attached to each DB, they were sort of sticking out like a tag - attached to the knurling via an adhesive back, which was irritating too as I still haven't got all of it off.
What you're saying about the boxes makes a degree of sense, but then I can't understand how the boxes could have been destroyed between Belfast and Dublin... Or I guess maybe it was en route from China. But ultimately the DBs got a bit battered either way :(
Hmmm in that case it was probably shipped from BLK BOX like that. I would have thought BLK BOX would at least plastic wrap them if they have no boxes.
Got a partial refund, if anyone experiences a similar issue.
Shout out to the chap wearing knee wraps for squats...then hamstring curls and then seated calf raises.
Getting his money's worth outta dem wraps
How the hell did he do hamstring curls with knee wraps on him? Did his legs bend at all??
Did he take them off between sets and then re-wrap for every set of leg curls??? So many questions...
Oh they stayed on the whole time.
I don't think they did anything for his squats...
Some Planet Fitness is having bad day
thats a new one for me
Boris Sheiko is a big fan of these. Personally wouldn't be arsed with the time or hassle it'd take to set that up.

Smacks of being trying to be different
Looks like something that would be a perfect accessory to either squat or deadlift
I think I would rather belt squat, depending on what the goal is. There’s a lot going on with that though, I presume Boris might have a clue what he’s doing.
I gather its useful for people who lift Atlas Stones.
Some guy tried to wear a squat suit and a slingshot in a raw division. More baffling is that the judges didn't notice. The squat is somewhere hidden, but that zombie walk to the bench. FFS

That was highly entertaining
😂 From the comments section:
The WR for furthest run completed by a Powerlifter has now been broken. I hope he was checked for Heelys afterwards
Bodybuilders have huge fight while trying to figure out how many days are in a week. its hilarious

That was gold.
Even the guys profile is hilarious with people commenting on the days in a week thing.

JR6610 Did you really make a profile on a body building forum just so you can criticize someone for counting days wrong on an 8 year old post? That forum post was from 2008 man.
.
If the post was from 2008 and it is now 2019, the post is 11 years old, not 8. Math remains a challenge I guess.

not one for the squeamish, ACLs be exploding, I wonder where he got the idea from? thankfully I dont have his imagination
Only saw Brad Schoenfeld post about this recently. In fairness, there's, no context to that injury. Did the guy gradually work his way up and he just got unlucky, or did he see someone do it online and decided to jump straight into the harder hips extended version while holding a plate?
that looks much safer for sure
Not sure if I want to click on the top link
What’s the point of this?
A way to dangerously overload the knee?
What's the point of any exercise? They're all just tools to force adaptations for various purposes. This is primarily a quad exercise and ironically could also be used as a way of strengthening the ACL, if done with sensible progression.
Somebody linked the guy's instagram where he talked about how he progressed the exercise. He's by no means a newbie, but it does sound like he moved to doing heavy triples a little too soon imo.
To be clearer, why do this over other quad isolation exercises. Like a lot of things I see posted it strikes me as being novel for the sake of it.
I think I would do something similar to Ben Patrick , from 1:30 for about 2 min he shows a good progression instead of what the first guy is doing anyway
