Trials are of course not over. Emergency use in the US is approved on the basis of an interim analysis (the trial paper and data I linked you to). This phase 3 trial will continue until the end of 2022.

There is ongoing monitoring and studies of the medicines that happens routinely with all medicines.
The FDA will be announcing full approval next month, in Europe we have never used emergency authorisation for the COVID vaccines (manufacturers choice).

ARR is an absolutely meaningless figure by itself. If I have a medicine that reduces deaths from 3/100 in a week to 0/100 my ARR is 3%, this is a good number to know but it does not mean that my medicine is only 3% effective, anyone saying that is lying.
