The ultimate goal of a vaccination passport would be to ensure that children who move between countries with different immunisation schedules do not miss out on crucial vaccinations. A similar scheme is already in place for pets and has helped boost vaccination rates, according to the European Commission.
Are certificates for one person for multiple tests or the vaccine linked?
Or is each test / vaccine certificate a completely separate entity?
I got an email scan code from registering that I had Covid after 1 day only as no sign of vaccine passport from Revenue yet which some of my family and friends got, all GP Pfizer double dose vaccinated
Does anyone know is the recovery cert website having technical problems this weekend. I have been trying to input information for a family member since yesterday morning without success. The portal lets me put in the information but then returns an error message saying “403 Forbidden”

Daughter got vaccines back in April/May through hospital consultant. Has received nothing. She communicates with consultant through email so can't understand why nothing has come through. I get it's probably a dot missing it something.
Have rang the hotline several times this past week and have hung up after 70/80 mins or call ended.
Is there any way to get a cert by emailing? Or does she still have to pencil in a few hours to sit by the phone?
Has she contacted the hospital to check if they put her in the system?
Had second dose of Pfizer yesterday, digital cert arrived this morning in inbox!
Yes. All ok apparently. She knows someone else who got it the same days as her and got it sent through alright.

I got through on Monday (4 hours) and all my details were correct including email address, was told I would have it within 5 working days but as yet have not received it
Just curious is anyone who also ghotg through received it yet and was it via email or post?

I just received someone else's digital cert. I'm guessing they entered in the actual persons e-mail address wrong? Or is it something bigger, has there been any other known cases of that happening?

Yes! I rang last Tuesday looking for mine. They had incorrect details on file for me so they said once these details were updated I would have it within 5 days (not working days) and it arrived last night via email.

Actually, assuming we are properly implementing the EU standard, the check is completely offline and no data is sent to the government (or whoever) when scanning the code. The QR code includes a little data on you: name, surname, date/kind of vaccinations, date (if any) of Covid recovery, date (if any) and kind of testing (PCR, antigen).
the data included in the QR code is signed so you can validate that it has not been tampered. This is how you check the validity.

I didn’t think of that. I’m a foreigner, and I had my ID/license (from another EU country) declined several times when buying alcohol. Really hope I won’t have to bring my passport everywhere when I finally get my Covid papers…

Digital cert arrived by email at 06.45 this morning
Anyone with recent experience as to how long it's taking for a cert to be sent by post.
Got 2nd dose on Wednesday in GP.
Got through in 15 minutes this morning but I rang at 8.30 bang on. Had to get two certificates amended.
I got vaccinated in NI if that counts....it is proving an absolute nightmare to get digital cert...seemingly a lot easier if you have a British passport...mine is irish

I got mine amended over the phone last Thursday but still nothing in my inbox.
Very easy to scan the digital cert into your wallet if you have an iphone - all done now, it's grand to have it easily accessible on the phone.
can you not just scan it into the covid tracker app?
You can, but I don't have that app - deleted it. It's way easier to have it in the wallet, in my opinion
Same thing really in terms of ease, both are only like 2 clicks.
Covid app is pretty useful when it comes to close contacts as well, probably better to have it than not, it's just sitting there.

You probably shouldn't have received the digital cert yet as the vaccine isn't effective until somewhere between 7 and 14 days.
They said it could be up to 5 days when I was talking to them.
