Haven't seen any appointments for Galway lately on here, anyone know what ages are being done lately there?
Update - 41 year old who was still waiting first appointment in Dublin. Was calling the helpline so many times and getting no where, so managed to get an appointment for Pfizer through the GP thankfully. A hse appointment text then arrived for the first dose the day after the GP appointment was scheduled, typical but just happy its sorted.
Feel sorry for anyone falling through the cracks as it's quite stressful and the helpline can't manually schedule appointments, they only send the escalation request to some other team who you can't contact
Got 2nd Pfizer jab in Punchestown yesterday. Was very busy there around 4.30
How long does it take to receive text for 2nd appointment after getting your 1st dose? I know it's generally 4 weeks after same time but just wondering when it'll be officially confirmed :)
Just got the text for dose 2, will be getting it 26 days after dose 1.

Has anyone driven someone else to a vaccine appointment at the National Show Centre in Swords? I presume it'll be fine for me to park up and wait for them? Any idea what the turnaround times are like at the moment?
27 years old, Clonmel. Registered late last night (19th/20th), woke up to a text saying my appointment for first Moderna dose was on Thursday morning (22nd). Very quick.
Yeah you can wait in the car. About 30 minutes.
I hadn't realized they were pushing the dosing out to 5 weeks for some people. Seems strange they would do that when they brought AZ in to 4 weeks.
I think the days of it being up to 35 are probably/hopefully over - there was a capacity squeeze to get all the pulled in AZ timeframes done which was delaying some mRNA second doses.
when was your first dose? i had mine first on 29th June at city west and still waiting for 2nd one.
I'm 28 days tomorrow and no word yet on a second appointment. Rang the hotline earlier and was told there was nothing they could do for me and to ring back next Tuesday if I hadn't heard anything by then. Got my first dose in Croke Park and not sure if they are delayed due to the games at the weekends.

Registered on Friday 16th July. Received appointment Monday 19th of July for the same day (Louth).
Received Pfizer so will receive second dose in 4 weeks time.
That was our first dose (18 Jul).

Asked this morning for a new appointment, just got a new one on the 26th. Still at the UCD, still pfizer.
Snap! I got the same text today, had my first moderna dose at the racecourse the same day you did.
Just got a text for 2nd dose of Pfizer for Saturday, 24th July - this will be 3 days short of 28 days - is this alright??
You're asking the good folks on this forum if a decision on the time frame of in-between vaccines is OK? 😄

Ah well, it's been talked about enough! But for some reason, I thought it had to be 28 days or over! I just looked it up there myself anyway 😀
