Got a confirmed vaccine appointment - Post your age and appointment date.
So we can see exactly what ages they are vaccinating at any time.
Dont post if you've already been vaccinated.
Obviously I havent got an appointment to post, so am curious to find out what age they are actually doing at the moment.

Great Organisation - In and Out in 30 minutes including 15 minutes observation.

Registered on May 12 or 13, was told it would be a wait of 3 or 4 weeks to be notified of appointment, which would then be 3-5 days later.
Instead I got an appointment next day (May 14, Friday) for the following Monday afternoon.
Had vaccination (Moderna) at Galway racecourse. Extremely well organised, polite, efficient. In and out in 30 minutes, incl. 15 minutes observation where you just sit and wait.
Jab itself wasn't very painful, just a little sting, and I had next to no after effects, just a slight soreness in the muscle the next day.

Also, one of the staff members said they're doing the age groups about a year per day at that site.

On the whole, from my experience the HSE is doing a phenomenal job on this. High praise for all the staff making this happen.

All of the above for me as well.

Bit of a delay but all in all it went pretty smooth.

Didn't have the greatest of days yesterday.
Knees felt like I had done a marathon without preparation and fell asleep about 174 times during the day.
That is all gone today though.
Just the muscle they put the shot in is a bit sore.

Would you be better off just turning up and explaining your situation Golfwidow. Perhaps go late in the day to your local centre. Worth a try

The thing was that before they decided to make exceptions for 40+ years olds - prior at risk groups (like your parents) were not given any choice. Now we have entire groups being facilitated regardless of individual medical risk.

Your parents should have been vaccinated by their GP. Did you contact them?

How did they get an appointment, through the portal? AZ is for the over 60s in general. Has their GP not identified them as group 4 or 7?

Registered on 12th May. Rang helpline this morning as we are taking a short family holiday for a week from Sat 28th and wanted to check on status and if location needed to be changed.

Was advised that the appointment was for 3pm tomorrow and cyber attack would be reason I didn't get notification.

20 minutes later I got a text with appointment details.
