Got a confirmed vaccine appointment - Post your age and appointment date.
So we can see exactly what ages they are vaccinating at any time.
Dont post if you've already been vaccinated.
Obviously I havent got an appointment to post, so am curious to find out what age they are actually doing at the moment.

My GP had a cancellation from cohort 4 so they gave me a call and in I went a few hours later.

I honestly could not have been there quick enough - if I'd been told the vaccine was waiting for me down in Cork I'd have been on the first train!

HSE stole two of my part-time staff.

Both are medical students. Both starting in vaccination centre on Monday as are most of their college class mates. Hours running up to midnight in their contract.

I got my appointment as cohort 7 from a referral from my hospital consultant (GP wasn't opting in) the text came via Swiftqueue (same number I get confirmation from blood test from) Maybe the new referral system for Cohort 7 is just piggybacking on to blood test system. GP/Consultant books a vaccine rather than a blood test?

Look for salesforce

The system uses Software as a Service solution. Basically they ask them to build what they need and they do and supply it. Salesforce would have very good security as they have totally control over their platform. Basically it like google forms. You publish a form in google, someone enters data and it end up on a google sheet document. Of course it's much more complex than that with intergrations with other databases etc, ability to create custom reports actions based on that such as ordering the correct number of vax for that one day and sending all the SMS to each person etc etc. getting confirmations back.

So who ever went with SF for this really is sitting smug right now.

Not meaning to derail the thread but as it’s getting close to when I’d be expecting to be called for vaccination, I’m wondering if there’s a specific time of day that the texts are sent out & if the appointments are all next day or later? I don’t always have immediate access to my phone & don’t want to miss a notification or appointment, especially if the notice would be short.
