Does is seem plausible that their argument was staged?
It seemed a little odd, and Barbara commented the same, but I still don't see the logic in it as a play

Obviously not ideal, but if it hits Hopper then, yes, a villager will die but we would know who he was for sure. Better than hitting a villager and having no additional info...?

That reaction was as genuine as they come imo, i'd be happy enough to move Wendy out of the line, not that she was ever in my one anyways

Steve seems to be flying under the radar a bit here also.. though he was first to vote today.
