I see two golfs on done deal in the classic section down as classics, one is 00 and the other is 99. are they really worth the 1750 asking price for the 00?

I've a 02 golf diesel here and when I sold my 09 a4 diesel, I was with allianz who quoted me 1200 euro tpf&t. I was getting a company van so didn't go with it in the end. the golf was paid for and I didn't want to hold onto the Audi as it was worth too much to be sitting there. the opinion was here that the Insurers had a high value on the insurance for an older car.

Yes you can insure 20 years old cars as classics.

I have a 1999 Fiesta on its own classic policy with Autoline.

The insurance companies can be choosy in what they will insure as a classic too. So for example German cars generally fine, Japanese cars of a similar vintage can be harder.

It's worth that in parts in fairness.

TSW Stealths are worth a few bob now (who'd have thought it)
Those bootlid center garnishes used to sell for 2-300 on their own.
Has GXi body kit, 20 valve front bumper, clear parking lights, 3dr wind deflectors, bootlid spoiler and that's just what you can see in the photos.

Diesel engine and box would be prime for export too.
