Hi,

The above delivery service was launched on 1 October. Has anyone got a delivery from them yet?

An item I am waiting on shipped yesterday at 4pm and I’m told it will be delivered today by 9pm. However, I’m feeling a little cynical it will be delivered today.

Predicted delivery on the 15th.

As far as I know, Amazon now have their own fleet of delivery vans here so it's themselves. If you tracking number starts with GA it's being delivered by Amazon themselves.

Subcontractors in vans of assorted colors or even your local horse drawn carriage.

Amazon is doing their own last mile in some region with outsourced providers.

Parcelking is one of them.

so if i was to buy something online from the UK and the seller uses a courier...would i be better off to request regular post from the seller to avoid the duty & vat?

Amazon.fr is in the EU, there won't be any additional charges, they already charge VAT.
It's not Dutiable until the value is over €150, from outside the EU. Again, unless it is specifically duty, all it is is the VAT.

How long is the Belgium customs clearing taken?

Mine went in at 5pm Sunday afternoon and no movement. It's a 350e product (Oculus Quest 2).

You are always going to get customs fees with addresspal - no matter where you get it from.

I was expecting it , I have purchased from other U.K. sites and it got through without custom charge.
Getting stuff delivered through addresspal is always the last resort.

This is what I'm interested in knowing also. I made a post in the last page about an order I placed then cancelled. I still want to purchase the item because finding it difficult to locate it here Ireland unless it's ridiculously expensive.
I'm wanting to know the best method of getting these items to me without having the additional charges on them. I could be wrong but My understanding of it I've to pay another 92euro, another 6.5% on top of this then a handling fee then another delivery charge of 20euro. That's going to add near another 200euro for me I think

Sorry i worded it wrong. I am not looking to avoid tax however I don't want to pay a double VAT, one in the UK and one here in Ireland. I read maybe there's a form the uk seller needs to fill out on there end(I think) to save paying a double hit. I don't mind the extra delivery charge either but paying 200e on top of my order seems very excisive to me.

Below is a reply I got from the seller in the UK..

In all honesty we are being told one thing from our accountant, one thing from Amazon and another from the couriers and reality its none of them. It seems to be working as such when you purchase from Amazon they are stating VAT included but actually when the invoice is produced the cost seems to be that it is not applied and then when its delivered TNT or DHL are applying the VAT your end on delivery. In regards to the additional paper trail i will be honest we just not really interested in doing it. We can send the tray as such above but Tile backer boards we will not send however due to weight and additional charges that are applied Reagrds Martin

Im waiting 4 weeks on laptop still in 'Mouscron', amazon giving me f-all info im on the verge of cancelling it and the tracking info is totally unreliable could be in North Korea for all I know

Two day delivery back here too! Although I made two separate orders of one item and two items, both orders under €22 and they were sent together however the package only declared one order, the one with two items, but the third item from the other order was in there too.

Ordered stuff yesterday, dispatched today. I know I'll have it tomorrow but delivery still saying Sunday. I know they're covering themselves but at least it's better than the weeks it took to get deliveries in January.

One thing I've noticed is that the 8 stops away notification usually starts further away. Usually it meant I'd have my delivery in 30-45 minutes, now it could be 3 hours.
