I dunno - it's not has if the big players at these teams are returning and scoring goals like they should be for their prices.

Fulham pre covid weren't as bad as people are making out here - they had 2 CS out of their last 3 games and Kane hasn't really set the world on light recently, if you take his penalties away he only has 7 goals in 17 games. He's supposed to be their main man and at 11m is he worth it? Son on the other hand has 12 goals.

KdB has 1 goal from open play this season - and that was when Sterling took a shot their hit the bar and fell to him. Sterling is actually in better form - but very few will go with him over KdB.

Auba - I don't think anything is really needed to be said about him. I have Lacazette and he is the form striker in the league atm, but there is no guarantee he'll start. In which case for being a "big team" who would you pick??

Everyone will probably have KdB - but he's just as likely to blank as he's done for most of the season.

The flip side of all this is instead maybe of looking at the big guns, would 5 at the back me a better option, with attacking minded defenders, for example, Cancelo, Tierney?

If you took Kane out for instance you could probably get a very solid set up playing a 5-4-1.

Laca has always been a trap for me so don't know why I'm looking at him now. Smith Rowe might be a better shout than Saka.

Shaw is also a doubt but he trained for the full session today apparently.

Go with FH now.
Unless you want to BB19 I don't see enough upside to waiting and you need a goalie transfer and Salah? out and -8 minimum over next two weeks to make saving it worthwhile.
Ace2007 suggestion could improve your bench. Dunne to Douglas in case he drops tonight.

Having said that I've 2 FTs and am itching to get the BB out of the way.

Would you be willing to get Wilson in instead of laca which would give funds to upgrade Shaw and maybe dunne to kilman

I don't really buy this line of thinking. Why would you take away his penalties? He has been playing brilliantly, and has 10 goals and 11 assists in 17 games. That's 21 of the 29 goals scored by a team 4 points off top with a game in hand.

Yes, he's easily been worth 11 million.

One part of me wouldn’t mind having one other player from one of the other fixtures. I’m not sure how comfortable with all the double/triple ups, and I think there could be players from the other fixtures then end up getting good points - just that type of GW. What are people’s thoughts on having some Wolves/Everton/Newcastle players?

My issue with using the FH is that my team won't be in great shape for GW19 especially if the Villa game is called off.

I could take a minus 8 to build my team for GW19 and keep my FH

Currently on the below team but will likely change before the deadline. Trying to have a strong bench and spread players across matches as much as possible incase of any late cancellations. I'd also like to have a punt or 2 in my time like Zaha or Siggy just to have a differential as all teams seem to be at least 10 from Arsenal Spurs Man City and Man Utd (including my own!)

Yeah, this is the best set of results you could ask for on a FH on a BGW. Remember, later in the year, BGW's will be for fixtures where both teams have been knocked out of the cup, so more likely to be lots of bottom half teams. I committed to the FH early but think I'd still do it today.

Happy with my lot, all 10 outfielders capable of attacking returns, my main rotation risks either didn't play at the weekend (Gundog, Regulion) or played less than 45mns (Cancelo, KDB, Laca). Fully playing squad spread out so no game has more than 3 players. Can't see me moving from that baring any Covid news today.

You have Pep Roulette with a double game week following
United also with a double following and reliant on Fernandes having a good day.
Spurs-yeah you would hope would fill their boots but Son and Kane are such high ownership its hard to get a differential.
And arsenal.........well........I would consider loading up on Crystal Palace personally. Can see a big 0-0 there.

I held the FH personally. There will be a lot more opps to use it.

Playing brilliantly as anything but a striker - Son plays higher up that him in most games - and hence Son has more goals that him.

Yea he does have 10 goals and 11 assists in 17 games, but he also only has 1 goal (penalty) and 1 assist in last 4 games. 3 goals and 3 assists in the last 8 games - Is that worth 11m in funds compared to other players over the same timeline. At some point you have to discard what he's done in his early games.

Ultimately you want your striker scoring goals - it's how they have the best chance of getting bps. An assist for a striker is the same in bps as an assist for a defender.

Tomorrow against Fulham - how many points do you want him to get? 11m v bottom 3 team - is less than 13 points considered a fail?

If you’ve held off from playing the FH then how many players does that leave you starting for this BGW ? Realistic starters.

I can get to 7 with a -8 but head is busted deciding what to do.

There are alternatives I guess, but if you go without Kane you simply have to have Son and if you go without KDB probably Sterling. Going without both does seem like trying to be a little too clever, but I guess it depends on your position in your leagues etc.

Nice, I haven’t seen many teams going 4-5-1. Looks strong. Many of us going with Lacazette-I’m starting to wonder if he might be the flop of the week

That -8 takes you to a a very decent team of 9. There seems to be some suggestions though that Cavani will get the nod over Martial so that could be a sickener if it happened. Burke is meh, could get you some points but most likely to get 2 points.

I like your -4 option of getting in Rash/Kane/Cancello. Rashford is a move that I am pondering as a normal transfer and not as part of a FH. They have a very nice run of games apart from Liverpool over the next 9.

I didn't FH last night and if I don't today I'll likely change Salah to Rash and upgrade DCL to Kane for a -4 and 8 players.

Hopefully the pressers will give us a bit more info to play with.

I think im holding off using my Fh. I can get 9 out including all the big hitters. I dont think the remaining players are worth a free hit as i think it will be more valuable later in the season. Just need to dodge a couple of bullets and i will be fine. Its a risk but I think the reward(in my case anyway) is worth it.

I think it's a good opportunity for a differential or two, otherwise it's quite a boring use of a chip

If your FH-ing, you would need to go with 3 of the big 4; Son, Kane, Bruo and KDB.

Could take a risk in 1, leaving 2 out would be a hide behind the couch job.

Don't try and be too smart on a FH. Load into the the big guns.

its exactly my play. not too far off 500K so a good punty swing in my favour on Sterling as captain is what I am thinking. current team is
