Hmmm, not sure those early leads in NC and Ohio are large enough to withstand the in person voting which will heavily favour Trump.

Some elements of socialism make sense and- IMO- should be considered in a social model esp free health care but full blown socialism is not the answer. A fairer form of capitalism benefits far more of the population than socialism.

Because it was always going to go red. Unless in the first 8% of the votes counted there's a swing of 30% compared to what was expected then it's fine and makes sense to call it.

Can someone explain how some states with only some votes noted as counted are declaring one way or the other?

Is it essentially precedent based?

For example, Arkansas has declared for Trump with only 14% of votes counted. Massachusetts declaring for Biden with 3% counted.
