Suggest spaces where mask weaing is mandated are avoided by such individuals for obvious reasons.

There's pictures posted somewhere of healthcare workers getting close and hugging each other on their lunch breaks without wearing masks.

I see this in shops from shop workers as well. Have a screen between the shop worker and customer but then turn around and get close to their colleague. It's like people thinking that people you know are immune from this but others you don't know are diseased.

You can't trust anyone with this because you don't see virus particles and respiratory droplets that people love to share around.

Wearing cotton masks for longer than couple hours can actually be more dangerous than not wearing it.

Different bacteria colonies are extremely fast growing in a warm & humid environment of your cotton mask!!

This mean you need to change disposable mask (2 euro each) every 2 hours.

And how do they enforce it (changing masks every 2 hours)?

A lot of those cases were early on when the suitable PPE was not available and before they divided areas such as A/E and certain wards into covid and non covid. Those staff had to stay only on those wards and not go elsewhere.

Also some of those cases were possibly related to taking on and off gowns etc as a similar problem was discovered to be the case in HCW catching Ebola and was quickly rectified with education. SOme was also associated with travel.

At the moment I can see 1200 people died due to COVID implications

Since cotton masks are not good enough, I can see a compulsory carbon filter poly-carbonate masks 100 quid each with disposable filters 10e per day supply.

I said it after the election, before COVID. How anyone could vote down FG down and these clowns back in is beyond me. Not that I love FG but at least they have shown some competence.

Your scenario has never happened anywhere else where they've temporarily made masks mandatory for epidemic control purposes so don't see why it would happen here.

Mandatory masks never prove to be efficient or any good for fighting the virus.
