A lot of developers do still prefer Android though because it's so easy to throw any old rubbish up on Google Play, compared to all of Apple's quality control hoops you have to jump through. And as an end user, if you want something you can tinker with rather than something that just works, then an Android device is more interesting from that point of view too.

Yes Google and Samsung are pricey at the high level but compare the price and the spec, you get more bang for buck with them I will say that the new iPhone 11 has a fantastic cpu by all accounts.
