Our outside place backs onto to council estate. Some of the most ignorant people I've ever met in my life.
Firing mattresses, rubble or rubish over their back garden walls on to my fence.

yea a few drier summers doing serious harm here too, thinkin of cutting numbers of heifers as well, better off with a 100 more store lambs and 20 less cattle

I say the rain will reduce numbers lots of farmers that were fairly well stocked were starting to move numbers as well as dairy/beef operations under pressure as well. Heard of cases of farmers buying silage to feed to bullocks. Even on heavy farms growth had slowed.

As well under 30 month cattle will get tight at some stage. Plenty of cows around but the danger of s large dairy cow cull because of milk prices and poor grass growth may have disappeared

That’s complete rubbish the smaller factories are the only ones trying to pull the price there unlikely to pull them in the bigger processors so I’ve been told

Well all the big plants are on €3:60 moyvalley €3:55 the trim on cattle is always harder in them smaler factories
Iast year sent a few was very disappointed with kill out should have let them over age ( a lessen )

Beef plan will probably continue to abuse Creed , you'd wonder what'd please them.
They're definitely no help to beef promotion and sales

Factory prices will fall as soon as farmers get any government support because they will be able to get away with it then

Factory prices fell in the knowledge there friends in Government will provide lifeline to keep suppliers from exiting the business.
I did accept Beam I will accept next payment because it helps to keep me a float but I do believe these payments are of more long term benefit to processors than farmers.
If these payments stoped and market forces made producers leave the industry processors would have to pay higher prices or they would run out of raw material.

If it 80 euro/ head it will cover about w
20_22 weeks of slaughtering, if it 100/ head about 16-18 weeks, 120/ head would give 13-14 weeks. A couple of provision's it paid on all cattle, cows, bull, etc but excludes calves slaughtered at less than 6 months of age. It paid to all farmers regardless of there main activity.

Yes I imagine if you had cattle slaughtered in NI would they would qualify as it's a COVID scheme., It might even be paid on cattle gone to Algeria that went direct to slaughter.

I had 28 eligible cattle for BEAM if this new scheme runs from the start of Covid till now I'll get nothing. I have the same amount of cattle as I had. They will want to think this thing out.

When you mean beam what do you mean date wise? Why was their talks of another beam and if so what dates?

It is muted from start of Covid 19 till now as the reference dates for the new scheme announced by the minister today.

The last beams reference dates were between July and November... I stand corrected as to the exact dates... In other words it the time of the year you kill cattle at.

There was only one beam? The reference period was mid September 18 to mid May 19, there was talk of another beam but I didn’t hear anymore did you?
