Germany plans to extend a travel ban for non-European countries until 31 August, government sources told Reuters on Tuesday, adding Berlin was also strongly advising against any cruises due to the special risks related to coronavirus.

Tourism/hospitality/cruise liners are all no no's for me. As an earlier poster said another bottom is likely to come, most stocks recovery so far had been based on hope rather than realism with some help from the fed and ecb.

It has been interesting watching the likes of hertz, carnival, luckin coffee etc going bankrupt or accepting payday loans and recover significantly.

Bought marathon oil today (mro). Feel oil will recover in the medium term especially with opec cuts.
Going to hang onto to my safer stocks like Microsoft, alphabet, amazon and coke.

Note: I'm new enough to trading so take any advice with a big pinch of salt

Slight difference in real world costing there and what NKLA are estimating (picking numbers out of the air) what it will cost them - they have yet to build a single truck.
In other words, this ain't no Tesla, this is snake oil pure and simple. Play it as a gamble if you like but definitely not one to hold long term.

I don't think the train has stopped just yet.. people TPing and lowering risk into Fed meeting ≠ end of equities going bid.
Prob will see S&P at ATHs before a pullback.

just a passing comment..when you guys are transferring money to your trading account (in ur trading platform) do you transfer euro and do the fx in the platform (for what your looking for USD,GBP...)
or do you do the exchange from your bank account(think the roi banks have a larger spread) -- just curious.

so far I have only transferred Euro's and Degiro do the conversion when i'm buying US stocks...In another Degiro thread read you can do conversion manually.

Hammered today too, got out of Sonos with a small gain, ironically got out of Tesla @ €820, let the cash sit for a month or so and put it all into Shell yesterday and lost my shirt.

Nikola (up 130% for the week) is having a public conference call at 8.30pm Irish time, stock currently at $70 - could be anywhere from $30-$100 by this time tomorrow

Ah I have had them a while now as long term stock ( good chunk under the 100 $ )- invested over the years so prob different for me watching them gain and debating when to cash out now ; i cashed out around April last year at 120 bit too early as they went on a rally after but i needed the $

i transfer in eur and make exchange thereafter... based on fx rate banks will take anything you let them!

markets moving based on view were passed the worst.. but seems to be allot of buys... its bubble like behaviour IMO.....

..i need to stop watching cnbc- thry are always optimistic ... but they are carefull adding caution..
GOLD IS UP ..maybe NOT the time to invest in LK, HERZ.. .. look at the too big to fail chaps...

Definitely won't be investing in LK or HERZ but people are making money on the bankruptcy pumps - Hertz, JCPenney to name but 2.
